Weeds Planting flowers and Ducks

Thank you being patient with shifting the days. Today is about Weeds Planting flowers and Ducks. As you can see it was a busy Sunday… I have over 50 plants languishing in 4 inch pots… and with the crazy June, they were REALLY beginning to suffer. Adding to that the weeds were chocking out new plants from last year. I happily found several and with a bit of TLC and water they look much better. So I forgot to take a photo of the HUGE pile of weeds that filled the back of my truck, and this was just from the Memorial garden, YIKES!! I also found some things that I thought had perished over the winter, woohoo!!

You know I also forgot the take a photo of how the seeds were doing, but there is really not too much to see yet.

This beauty was peeking out around the Ninebark bush by the Chicken Coop. This is really how vivid she is. No idea what her name is but DANG, right?? I am thankful that I do not need to move her to make room for the new duck housing. Joe and been locating a bunch of stuff to make a house and run. Although he has not found all the parts I am really hoping that this construction will get underway soon!! Speaking of Ducks…

So grateful that we found a new home for one of the Pekin male ducks. And they sure are loving the freedom of being able to go down to the pond or stay up by the pool. It sure is nice letting them run around and not worry about them killing my plants, like the chickens. Plus, Joe has enjoyed watching them run around the house… Seriously all the way around.
