    Window of Free as a Bird

    Coffee and Cards we worked with the Stampin’ Blends and the Free as a Bird (149468) Stamp set. Those cards, I am happy to say have already found new homes… I told you I had a plan for them… Just as soon as the video ended… I grabbed envelopes and dropped them off to the new friends.     Starting on Thurday Joe is on his long weekend. Yup, we are off for some shenanigans. But that was only after a class on Tuesday with the lovely Culver ladies. And just too much heat. uugghh a couple of days that were nice, then back at it. So, Gabby and I decided to watch some chick flicks. We even had a chocolate chip cookie or two.     Some of the “grass” around the pond is now MUCH taller then I am… YIKES!! Dontcha, just wonder what lurks in there?? I know at times I sure do!! The furries, have been enjoying the nicer weather, because a week of A/C is more then they can handle. They miss all the noises from the birds and the breezes too. Even Penelope was out, (middle) checking what was going on.. With all the rain… some volunteers have showed up…. in the way of Flowers. Always in super weird places.     Super busy Coffee and Cards today, PHEW…. Had fun playing with this set, pretty much for the first time!! Beauty Abounds (148726) and the coordinating Butterfly Beauty Die set (148536). If I were to be honest, I need those thanks cards… my purse was almost empty!! Vellum Butterflies on all five cards!! WooooHOOO!! A very happy heart for this girl! Wait??     This week for the Global Design Project is CASE the designer, Connie Collins. The parts that spoke to me are the Gingham and Frames… Have you tried using two of the stitched dies together?? No muss, no fuss for great frames! This carries all through the Ovals, Circles, Squares, Rectangles even the new Nesting dies. All of us in the Pickup Truck… for this week’s Global Design Project Challenge #gdp195 the theme is… So many fun ideas, but when I saw the challenge, it was going to use this new bundle Ride with Me (151106).     So, I do not forget…. I want to thank, once again, Sugar Shack Bakery in Plymouth for her beautiful flower cookies that matched very well!! Thank you Stephanie, the ladies though they were super yummy!! I was super excited, my mom (left) joined us for her very FIRST class. She said she has a super time and enjoyed the other ladies that came too!!     Global Design Project Challenge Day!! WooHoo, can you tell I was feeling patriotic? This week is a sketch challenge.. here was the inspiration. Remember yesterdays post?? The jar was coloring one of today’s ribbon. Did you know that with an ink refill some water and either Whisper White Twine (124262) or Polka Dot Tulle (146912) ribbon you can make it ANY color you need??
