    Goodbye to Fall Hello to Winter Ohh what a week. Between Thanksgiving and the nice weather I had a ton to do!! We are not only saying Goodbye to Fall Hello to Winter. Penelope decided it was too long since she sat in the front door. I was very excited to see her there. This was Wednesday, I was running around cleaning things up around the porch.     More Bulbs tough Decisions Here we are starting another week. So much, but so little going on I hate to admit. This week is about More Bulbs tough Decisions, I am super excited that the second bulb delivery arrived. This bring the total bulb count up to 1050. Mostly Daffodils, some Tulips and some Alliums. The last order is for the front three flower beds. Two on either side of the walkway and for the Memorial garden. With that being said, I am soo dang excited to see what happens this spring. He is struggling with some BIG choices we think. He actually has been having breakfast inside too. I am hoping that he comes to a decision soon.     Painting Snoopervisor getting closer I can say that tomorrow is going to be my last day painting. Not only because of the weather, but I am done!!     Bugs Red and little things This week has been BUSY! Not just about Bugs Red and little things EVERYWHERE!! Starting with this little cutie. I posted this on facebook so that I could find out what this will be when it grows up. Apparently it will be a Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly.     Red Theme for this week on the Homestead.

    Red Theme for this week So more progress and the Red Theme for this week. The color is called Red Garnet. That is what the post,. rails, spindles, shutters and front door trim. I was working all day on Sunday to get the top of the posts painted. Check out the difference. That is only one coat of the Red Garnet on the right. There is now a second coat on that and the left is now painted also. Here is the thing. A 5 gallon bucket of paint was not enough.
