Veteran Leaves Ducks and Henry

Join me today for a look at Veteran Leaves Ducks and Henry on the homestead. Honored to know this kid. Trevor, my son, a retired Marine. He was stationed in California for his 6 year tour. Went to Afghanistan twice. I am grateful to say that he was wiling to sign the ultimate check for our freedoms. He like many and I am grateful to them all.

This photo is from today. The Cleveland Pear is looking amazing, and sure holding on for longer than the rest. The willow behind this tree is empty. The only leaves are these and the oak trees that do not loose until spring.

The duck house update…. Roof, check. Paint, check. Door not yet. The ducks have gone inside, not completely voluntarily, but. I want to be sure that they know it was for them. However, I have also seen the chickens inside. I am happy to have this mostly done. Thank you Joe!! I am thankful that you have the skill to get this done for me.

I will leave you with Henry and his favorite purple ring. Do you see it on his ear?? He has figured out how to plan fetch. We will toss this ring and he DOES bring it back to both Joe and I. He is just soo happy and makes us laugh each and every day.
