I love how the “You are Wonderful (Slimline)” sentiment fits inside the big tree die. Grab your Stampin’ Blends out to color your leaves. The Plaid Tidings DSP helped me pick with colors to use.

The brisk weather the last couple days is getting me ready for the fall cards. How about you?? I shared how to create this card on a Facebook live here.

All that you need for this one is the Rooted in Nature stamp set, Nature’s Roots dies and cardstock to match your plaid that you picked. The twine and ribbon combo is one of my favorites. Wrap your Linen Thread around twice. Cut a 4 inch section of the Embroidered Ribbon. Tie a knot with the thread and then again after adding your ribbon section. Add in another section of thread for a bow.

Now let’s talk Stampin’ Blends.

For a time saver I cut and embossed the leaves prior to the live video. However, if given the chance I would have rather colored then choose the parts I liked best, embossed then cut. I bet you are wondering which colors I used….

• Daffodil Delight

Just remember to build the color… start with the lightest color and work to the darker. Take a deep breath and just have fun!!
