Work and Play Plants Chicks update on the Homestead
Work and Play Plants Chicks
Starting off the day in my typical fashion. Yup, a cup of coffee. I decided to take a minute before watering the veggie garden and enjoy a sip. No worries though this week is about Work and Play Plants Chicks plus who knows what else, hahaha.

It’s not just me working this week. As of Wednesday Morning Joe was on his long weekend. Which means that the work on the shed was the focus. Now here it is Monday and Joe only has one more door to finish. A much needed trip the get plywood too. Soo almost done. Joe is working on the ramp to enter the shed for the lawn mowers and us of course.
Sooo close!!
So while he was dealing with all that I finally, yes FINALLY finished the table. All scrubbed put together and secure. Question, have you looked at patio umbrellas lately?? Is it just me or have they gone to crap?? Not happy. I think mine is done. Joe did something to the one nice one I have left. I can not figure out how to undo it. Uugghh.

Talking about sunflowers I remembered that in my grandparent garden, my grandfather used to plant Sunflowers at the end of the rows. Soo… in honor of him, I have now done the same. Six rows and Twelve sunflowers we will soon have. While doing some weeding, I found this huge, bigger than my palm, succulent. It comes back every year with more kids and I love it. Plus Dad not all those little light green sprigs are the ground cover from the old house. I keep dividing and moving it all over the property. Thank you!!

A chick update is long overdue. They have been out two and three weeks now. With the nicer weather I have been trying to get them some time in the sun. I love being able to divide the pen area. However, the coop is never empty. I want the babies to go exploring up there too. Maybe tomorrow!! I will say there are a couple of the Big Girls that have been hanging out with the littles. We will see how this week goes!!

Alright, I started with my playing… here is Joes. Can you see him?? Yup, wading around in the pond. The Ducks of course are coming to check out what he is doing. They are curious!!
Lastly, the ‘triplets’ Henry, Violet and Wayne were enjoying the frogs on a warm night last week. I sure do loving having the windows open!!
Hope you have a GREAT week!!
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!

Join me while I celebrate!!
