Window using Peaceful Boughs

Remember back in October when we were doing the remodel and I took advantage of Joe having tools out? No?? check here. Here is a second project that was constructed that day. The first, in case you forgot, is the “ladder” that is now in the bathroom, check here. This one measures about 12″ by 12″. The perfect size for any paper crafting project!!
It started with a cardinal. In addition to the Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe ribbon, I paired it with the Burlap ribbon. Not using both, but layering one over the other. Using the perfect evergreen colors of Shaded Spruce and Garden Green.
Using all three sprig dies from Beautiful Boughs. How did I accomplish the frost look?? Some just got the Shimmer Crystal Effects. However, several also had the Ice Stampin’ Glitter added. (In an attempt to be sure you can see the Ice Stampin’ glitter the sentiment appears to be on Whisper White here, but is not)

I added depth to the cardinal. Two of the cardinals were stamped, cut out and layered one on the other. NOTE: due to Paula being VERY specific on what the proper colors are, I HAD to fussy cut out the beak. Blushing Bride was deemed to be satisfactory.
Have I teased you enough… Want to see the whole thing?? Well I sure hope so!

My mom fell in love with it so, I left is at her house. I meant to bring it home after our family Christmas, but … SHOCKING, I forgot it. Anyway, I love it too. Those boxes need to be built to that I can add my treasures to that wall above the desk. Hummm, it is Joe’s long weekend, maybe ???
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
