Michigan weekend trip overview

On Friday I hit the road to head up to Michigan for training. Leaving an hour earlier then originally planned due to possible weather issues. Keeping in mind no pit stops except maybe one.

After going from white out to clear back to white out…. what should have taken 45 minutes took almost two hours. Got stuck behind two accidents. right in front of me a person panicked and went straight into a telephone pole. The truck went sliding a couple times before getting off the expressway.

Yes, the truck pulled through without a scratch, thankfully. Only 30 minutes late, but in one piece and ready for an adult beverage. Thankful also that there was NO driving necessary again until Sunday. phew!! Thankful to have met and learned a ton from all 85 leaders. A great mix of experiences too. Four different million dollar sellers down to a demonstrator that has one downline.

People I met..

Ronda (left) organized this incredible event. She always had pearls of wisdom that hit me like a brick. Brandi (middle), formerly from Stampin’ Up! cooperate, an amazing demonstrator in her own right. As always, a beautiful ray of sunshine in all she does. Her help and hugs meant a great deal. Lynn (right) was the speaker that connected with me, We were fast friends and look forward to using all her pearls of wisdom.

The last picture is Lisa and Liz. Two sassy, fun and upbeat leaders that I look forward to getting to know more. Sadly, as usual forgetting to take more pictures!

Started a tradition a year ago.. A charm for every Stampin’ Up! event. This event was a leadership event ….

Good choice??

A couple of meanings behind this. My team, tribe, chosen sisters are for sure my friends. The ladies that I meet and now call my friends, confidants, teachers and accountability keepers. I love and need both in my life and am grateful for that.

So, how fitting that it started to snow about 40 minutes prior to my getting home.

Yes, I thankful for no accidents and no sliding this time.

Happy to be home, get smooches from the hubby, snuggles from the kitties and back to the craft room with a million ideas.

Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
