Welcome to Technique Tuesday (once or twice a month still figuring this out)… a new feature on the blog….Fun birthday card, right?? The Technique is faux metal… the happy birthday is actually embossed with silver embossing powder, 5 times… yup, one after another… supplies need: Silver embossing powder (pg202 109131 $5.), Heat Tool (pg203 129053 $30.) and VersaMark (pg202 102283 $9.). Then you need a sentiment, this card uses Treat Time Bundle (pg 35 w-148371 $52. c-148372 $45.75) Starting with your Very Vanilla or Whisper White cardstock you apply the VersaMark in a big enough area for your “sentiment” or image you desire, Apply the embossing powder, heat, let cool and repeat four times. Before the fifth application of VersaMark have your stamp ready, apply VersaMark put your stamp on the pad add embossing powder and heat… IMMEDIATELY press firmly your stamp to the still hot embossing. remove stamp let cool… then die cut out. It was a fun technique and easy to repeat. Look for a video on my YouTube channel in the near future. I also made a second card look for that later in the week. Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
