The second could be either Spring or Fall. hummm, I am going to got with Fall. I have to…

May Culver Library Class was almost lost, but found.
May Culver Library Class Thankful that things are getting back to normal even for the May Culver Library card class. This one has a fun addition using the new Beauty of Friendship bundle (suite too). Somewhere we did a Girl’s Night card similar to this. However this time I added the 3D look with the new dies. I love how it actually looks like dad is enjoying his tea under the two trees. You really can get a good idea of these tree tops now. Yes, I so love my dimensionals!! The A Cut Above stamp set includes both birthday and father’s day sentiments. I do not know why this…

Springtime Joy with a Lamb and pink
Springtime Joy with a Lamb I am ready for some Springtime Joy with a Lamb wearing flowers. How about you?? I bet it does not feel like spring today, but … This little cutie is here to say hello and think Spring. I created this card for the Culver Library class last month. We try and be a holiday ahead. I think she needs some eyelashes?? hummm?? Maybe even a little bit of coloring on her little feet. The “crown” coloring was done with Watercolor Pencils. Reminder, do not forget to use your Blending Pen to get a softer more blended look. However, you could easily do it with the…

Second Oval Occasions Swap adding Forever Greenery.
Second Oval Occasions Swap For the Second Oval Occasions Swap card I wanted a completely different look. Remember yesterdays card, here?? This time using the new Blending Brushes and one of the two folders in Greenery Embossing. So, after embossing I rubbed the blending brush into the Granny Apple Green ink pad. And VERY lightly swept that over the raised parts. It is best to go lighter. No worries if it is tgoo light you can add more!! Question… Does that flower bunch look familiar?? Need a closer look?? Yes, that was on yesterday’s card also. This time I pulled out the watercolor pencils and did a little coloring. I…

October Girl’s Night, the first card.
October Girl’s Night On the first Friday of each month, you can come and make some birthday cards. October Girl’s Night was no exception. We crafted, talked and laughed too! This was the first of two cards that the girls made. We always have two designs and they made two of each design. I saw this layout somewhere and knew that I had to try it. To simple?? I think the technique that I added kept the ladies on their toes. The Country Home stamp set has the beautiful water jug. But where in the heck did I get that sentiment?? Well, I made it. You might want the Stamparatus…

Snow Front?
Sure does not look like a snowy scene. I really love how much this set changes when you change the colors. You can check the facebook live here. The only thing that was subtracted was the “smoke” from the chimney. To do that was just a matter of not inking that section of the cabin. Funny how the look changes also when you watercolor or just straight stamp. Can you tell which is which?? The first one (left) is the straight stamp. How can you tell? The leaf colors are darker. The “grass” in that one is where we started the watercolor technique. They the leaves on the second (middle)…

Need a Birthday card??
We have been having fun with the Amazing Life stamp set (148750) . This one is similar to the first, but the sentiment is just tooo funny!! Think about that for a minute. Life is to short to say no to Cake!! The watercolor technique here is just the aqua painter (103954) filled with regular water and a little re-inker. Just a reminder the paper must be completely dry when you go to stamp. COMPLETELY! We have mixed ribbon styles before, this is to help pull all the colors together and not be too much. I hope this is a birthday card you can see using and making!! Have a…
