Christmas Decorations on the Homestead, WOW!

Christmas Decorations on the Homestead Soo, here we are with all the Christmas Decorations on the Homestead. Starting with the tree. Joe and I went to the local Christmas Tree farm, Hensler’s to find out perfect tree. So many possibilities. We went with a smaller nettle this year. It was a nice day, thankfully. What do you think?? After two attempts to get enough lights. It is complete. There are 800 lights on this thing. It was Joe’s idea for the multicolored lights. Which I thought would be fun, however… I had none. Took a guess at how many we would need. Yup, I guessed too low. Not only that…

Inspiration Card Tag Buffet and a fun idea.

Inspiration Card Tag Buffet An Inspiration Card and Tag Buffet to make it. How about I share an idea. I received this store bought card from a friend. I really liked the card and immediately thought of the ornament in the Tag Buffet stamp set (sold out, sorry) . Wanting to recreate this using a few things that I had not really used, yet. yes, we like to get the mileage out of things right?? I purposely took these photos so that you can see the foil background. I wanted to share that you could cut out something from under the Very Vanilla to “not waste” any by covering it…

Bell Rings Angel Wings from Christmas means more.

Bell Rings Angel Wings For today the Bell Rings Angel Wings means sooo much. It is not just from a notorious movie. I remember my grandma saying this too. She would always put a bell on the tree. Hugs grandma!! Just like a snowflake these are just slightly different. Take a closer look. This live there was a lot of decisions. First starting with emboss or to not emboss. For the texture we used the Tasteful Textile 3D folder. However, only on the Garden Green layer. Second was the stamping. Knowing the colors, there would be one in Real Red and one in Garden Green. Needing to figure out which…

    Traditional Winter Woods Christmas.

Traditional Winter Woods Christmas. Traditional Winter Woods Christmas card from the 3 Holiday Stamp Camp. For this stamp camp we did this traditional card and a beautiful non-traditional card. Check back tomorrow for that one. Today however, this Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake card with a touch of Red is the perfect add. I do like a more traditional card. However, looking outside the box is my specialty. I would think that is a card that my Mom and Dad would like. Yes, Dad I can make you some of these. Let me know, but there are more to come.
