Day Six Tasteful Treats Can you believe that today is Day Six Tasteful Treats. How is it that we have done that many?? Did you miss any?? Well you will find them all as follows…. day one, day two, day three, day four and day five. I know that is has been a sweet. Ohh, these were super fun. I wanted to see if the Tasteful Labels dies would work. And they sure did! Here is what I did… I cut two of the same label, front and back. Created a “box” to hold the candy that I wanted. Note that the boxes fit ‘inside’ (or behind) the labels that…

September Girl’s Night card, using Nature’s Beauty
September Girl’s Night Here is a September Girl’s Night card. This one uses the Nature’s Beauty and the Artistically Inked stamp sets. For these two cards again one for the in person as a sample the second for the online class. The changes we made this time were not the outside. They were for the inside, see below. The one on the left is the original sample. In the live we decided to change it up and use a different critter. Which is your favorite? You know what… Here is something to think about. The Nature’s Beauty has NO sentiments. So adding in a simple “happy birthday” from the Artistically…

Sweet Strawberry Plus Three additions to each set.
Sweet Strawberry Plus Three I love the Sweet Strawberry plus three idea. We started with the simple stamping idea. Created our own DSP using the two step stamping from the stamp set. I have to tell you that I really love using the Flirty Flamingo as the background color with the Real Red as the outline. How do feel about it?? The stem colors are Pear Pizzazz as the background and Granny Apple Green as the outline. That is where the Granny Apple Green cardbase was decided. Have you made your own DSP yet. It sure is easy. I used Basic White cardstock and grabbed the ink. The first was…

Getting Ready for Christmas in July, even decorating.
Getting Ready for Christmas in July To start Getting Ready for Christmas in July, the prep work started with the cards. Yes, you will get to see them, two tomorrow and two on Sunday. After those were complete, on to the fun stuff. Decorating and Treats. Which you know are my favorite things. I do enjoy “spoiling” everyone. Well just a little bit. Here you will see that no matter in person or online. Treats for everyone!! Yes, that is real wood! The ornaments are possibly familiar. Remember last year we did wood ornaments?? I was able to get more. I also used the ribbon that everyone received as a…

Little Things you do, from Pansy Patch
Little Things you do Today the Little Things you do are BIG things. This post is a reminder from me to you about how important all those little things can be!! I am here to tell you that the little things are HUGE to me. A smile and a hello text are all important. That a butterfly is here to remind you also that someone loves you. Just fluttering by. This card truly has almost all of my favorite things. Gingham, butterflies a little bling and a different idea. You know where the butterfly comes from Butterfly Brilliance bundle, which was HUGE during the Butterfly Birthday Bash. The little bit…

First up Fresh Freesia, 2021-2023 In-color
First up Fresh Freesia Okay, First up Fresh Freesia. And I do think this one is a favorite. However, I really do love them all. I promise really, This one kinda surprised me though. Why?? Because this one lends more to the pink then purple, I think. What do you think?? So pairing this color up with the Blackberry Bliss just brought me much MUCH joy. I love the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon. I am sure, haha, you are shocked that this has a butterfly. But another love for me is Gingham. This Black and White gingham is from the host set in the 2021 Annual catalog did you miss…

It Started with $1 I know, it has been too long since we have done… It Started with $1. Here we are April 1st and I know I have at least three lined up!! WoooHOOO!! So for this one, it all stared with a trip to Dollar Tree. I found this cute chalk board. I knew I could use it. But the wood was super light. and the back was plain… hummm I got Mom to help!! We have a family friend that was the victim of a shooting. So knowing that Mom might like to help be create this gift. I went out to Illinois to see what she…

Flowering Cactus with Curvy dies. FUN!!
Flowering Cactus with Curvy Can you believe this Flowering Cactus with the Curvy dies card?? I really wanted to try and use up some of these left over pieces. Even the sentiment is from the Flowering Cactus Product Medley. However the pieces that it is sitting on are 1 1/2 inch Circle Punch and the Tasteful Labels dies for the layering piece. Do you want to hear my favorite part?? It is the Curvy dies. This fun little add really worked out. And to thing that the top here was an extra piece. Really, it was the bottom piece that I had a plan for. Hummm, did I share that…

Layers of Tasteful Touches labels.
Layers of Tasteful Touches. In need of a masculine card?? Do you like woodgrain?? The In Good Taste Suite has all you need! Including little wood elements. No, I did not use them on this card. This one is another Culver Library Class card. Layers of Tasteful Touches dies was what I needed to add interest with what started out as a little stamping. A closer view of the front shares what started as just one stamped fern. Yes, it turned into a whole bunch… ohhh well. The ladies were very patient, thankfully!! Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede inks were what we used. Three different DSP pieces and four of…

Inky Whisper Sisters Swap Sketch card.
Inky Whisper Sisters Swap Sketch Have you ever tried creating a card from a sketch?? I love sketches, why?? Well, you can use the layout or design that the sketch provides. However, you can change the shapes, or the orientation of the card. Because a sketch is just to get you thinking. It sure was fun to see what the Inky Whisper Sisters swap sketch cards turned out to be!! Take a look at the things that I choose to “C.A.S.E.” (copy and selectively edit). I liked the way the twine was added, because everything should have some sort of ribbon, right?? But I used circles instead of a square…
