House of Love and Warmth, Ringed with Nature
House of Love and Warmth This somewhat simple card would be your Christmas card!! The House of Love and Warmth uses the Ringed with Nature stamp set, there is a bundle too. Haha, yes I still have more with this set!! The tree rings are first and second generation. What does that mean?? See how those rings have two different shades?? The darkest is first generation and without re-inking my stamp I stamp it a second time, second generation. Note the top right in the photo on the left, that is a third generation. Those tree rings are awesome as a background for out house. The Essential Tag was the…

The Pear Pizzazz on is slightly bigger then the Blackberry Bliss. I hate to say that both of the stamp sets…

1/19 Coffee and Cards, Stamp ink and paper.
1/19 Coffee and Cards Oh we had fun on 1/19 Coffee and Cards. This Stamp, Ink and Paper card just turned out soooo pretty!! Very Vanilla was the 3 3/4 x 5 layer I started the card. Here is where you need to look into your ink stock. I looked for a light and a slightly darker color ink that would look good at leaves and flowers. Soft Sea Foam paired well with Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride with Rococo Rose. The fifth ink was Soft Suede for the sentiments. We did find out that you COULD stamp twice the same color and get a similar look. Like the extra…

You are Wonderful – Slimline, Rooted in Nature.
You are Wonderful Slimline. I love how the “You are Wonderful (Slimline)” sentiment fits inside the big tree die. Grab your Stampin’ Blends out to color your leaves. The Plaid Tidings DSP helped me pick with colors to use. The brisk weather the last couple days is getting me ready for the fall cards. How about you?? Coloring Sunflowers using the Stampin’ Write Markers.
Grab your Regals to Color Sunflowers using the Stampin’ Write Markers. That is my go to color family for fall. Darker yellow, a couple different oranges, greens and reds too. Yes, the perfect fall color family! However pairing the Very Vanilla helps to darken the colors just a little. Curious how I created this card? Check out the Tuesday edition Coffee and Cards for the full run down. Yes, I sure did mix the colors to get the sunflowers to look like this! I did the same with a few of the leaves also! Have your gotten your markers out and played with lately? WHAT? You don’t have any? Well…

You can see the difference in this picture on the left. How do you feel about that?? I can totally live with it. Have you tried out the Beautiful Friendship stamp set yet?? It is a distinctive stamp set, I love how it creates the dimensional all with one stamp. Need another look at…

Thursday morning…. Joe is off to work and I can actually sleep in! The house should be relatively quiet, right?? Apparently NOT!! Mooch woke me up snoring in my ear. geezz, I know that I snore, but holy cow. I can not fix his snoring. Their feathers are coming in… Joe told me the other day… “So, Amazon dropped off their legs today?” It truly is amazing how quick these babies grow. As you can see from the top of this photo, the tail feathers are starting to come in. They are still very quiet. Except once… Joe and I were at the kitchen table and heard some loud chirps.…

Snow Front?
Sure does not look like a snowy scene. I really love how much this set changes when you change the colors. You can check the facebook live here. The only thing that was subtracted was the “smoke” from the chimney. To do that was just a matter of not inking that section of the cabin. Funny how the look changes also when you watercolor or just straight stamp. Can you tell which is which?? The first one (left) is the straight stamp. How can you tell? The leaf colors are darker. The “grass” in that one is where we started the watercolor technique. They the leaves on the second (middle)…
