One last Painted Season idea, okay maybe two.
One last Painted Season I found One last Painted Season idea. Okay, really there are two. Shhh, Dad do not tell mom. I made this with here in mind,. It is smaller, but thought maybe she would put it up by the sink. This small shadow box is 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches. It really does go off the sides and top though. Using Mossy Meadow and Basic White for the greenery of the Christmas Pinecones dies. Six of the pinecones and then the berries too. I really look forward to having this set to use for the Christmas in July for 2022. Well as an option anyway. Okay,…

Pale Papaya Two Ways and a video too.
Pale Papaya Two Ways Today has Pale Papaya Two Ways adding in a little Just Jade. Do not forget at the bottom is the YouTube video how I made the bottom left. That one has more layers to it. Because there is no wasting those “clouds” from the top version. We created the top in an episode of Coffee and Cards. Dare I say (again) that I am not sure which I like better. Each has layers and each has the same basic idea. I do like the lighter color or the top one. For this card I used the Blending Brushes and a piece of Basic White. The “masked”…

February’s Second Girl’s Night Card, Enjoy the Moment.
February’s Second Girl’s Night card. Here is February’s Second Girl’s Night card… Did you miss the first one?? Check out Sunday’s post here. I wonder … did you miss this stamp set in the Mini?? It is called Enjoy the Moment. I love this and really think of fall when I originally saw it. Why?? because that is when I collect seed from the dry flowers in the garden. That really is what these images are. Seed pods of all sorts. The largest image is poppy seed pods. That is usually the first pods you can collect. Mid summer usually. I know, ANYWAY… This card came together pretty quick cause…

1/19 Coffee and Cards, Stamp ink and paper.
1/19 Coffee and Cards Oh we had fun on 1/19 Coffee and Cards. This Stamp, Ink and Paper card just turned out soooo pretty!! Very Vanilla was the 3 3/4 x 5 layer I started the card. Here is where you need to look into your ink stock. I looked for a light and a slightly darker color ink that would look good at leaves and flowers. Soft Sea Foam paired well with Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride with Rococo Rose. The fifth ink was Soft Suede for the sentiments. We did find out that you COULD stamp twice the same color and get a similar look. Like the extra…

Background Created with Just Ink pads
yes, Created with Just Ink pads. I want to share how this background design was created with just ink pads and shimmer spritzer. So grab your favorite ink colors, some Whisper White cardstock, make a Shimmer Spritzer (link) in complimentary color and let’s do this!! As you can see on the bottom of this photo I made three different color patterns. One has more corner sweeps, another has softer sweeps and the other is a mix of the two. Want to see how.. Check out the Tuesday Edition of Coffee and Cards here. Starting with a half sheet of cardstock for each pattern. You will get a lot of mileage…

Thoughtful Blooms
Do you follow me on Facebook?? You know that I LOVE snow! But I know not everyone does. Over on Facebook I suggested that we look at things with a different perspective… Let’s use this opportunity to create a White and Grey or Tan card, but add in a pop of color from this photo.. I choose Grapefruit Grove as my pop of color. I also added in a little Garden Green for leaves and twine. Can you see now that I even stamped Whisper White on the Crumb Cake. Head on over to the Facebook page and add your project! It doesn’t even need to be a card… create…

Power of 3 Rooted in Nature
I love these fall colors. I love this Stamp Set, Rooted in Nature (146482). I love helping YOU overcome your fear of adding MORE!! I also LOVE videos! I walk you through how to add just a few things AND I even explain a few whys. However, You need to be brave and TRY!! Starting with the left and working our way to the right. Adding just a little as we go… first, keeping with a small cluster of leaves and “wood”. Middle, adding a layer to the sentiment, the twine and a few additional leaves. Similarly to the first, the grouping is in the same location. The right, however,…
