Hello Pumpkin using Silver Twine and Inked

Hello Pumpkin using Silver Today, I am sharing a FAVORITE of mine. The Hello Pumpkin using Silver Threaded Twine and Artistically Inked. And of course a stick, from the yard. I created this over on YouTube and have been wanting to do it for a couple years now. I only needed the correct twine. The Silver Threaded Twine is exactly what I needed. There are six different bunches off this stick. And of course I picked an old gnarly stick, I found on the wood pile. It is actually bigger then it looks. Curious about the Orange twine. Well You should try using either ink or a Stampin’ Blend to…

Last Coloring Class Card Here is the Last Coloring Class card. Yes, I saved my favorite for last. Although I did really love how all of them turned out!! Did you miss the roses with the Blending brushes?? How about the “succulents” card one?? How do I suggest starting with these amazing markers?? Just grab a couple of your favorite colors and a stamped image, using Memento ink. Or like we did here a 12 x 12 sheet of True Love DSP. However any black and white would do wonderfully. Second Look at Coloring Class. How about a Second Look at Coloring Class, with a masculine touch. I am excited to be able to remind you that Blending Brushes are back in stock!! WooHooo. I used Just Jade and Mossy Meadow for the above card idea. To me this patterned piece looks like either succulents for cabbage for fall. Either of those could very easily be for the man in your life. Joe liked it anyway… haha For this part of the class we used just one Blending Brush. Working from light to dark. It really does cut down on cleaning. Just Jade was our lighter color. Peek at Coloring Class, Blending Brushes and Wink.

Peek at Coloring Class. Just a peek at the coloring class from last month. Holy Cow how could it be a month already!! The first technique was easy and fun. Picking our favorite color and “brush” the flowers. I used Rococo Rose, but really it could be ANY color. I wanted to be sure that you could get a lot of stuff so… Each person has a full 12 x 12 piece of DSP to play with. But that was just the start!! One blending brush and three sets of Stampin’ Blends also. You got to pick the colors!! I find that it really is much easier that way. Why??…

You know it was difficult picking just one. Which is your favorite?? The Snail or the Mushrooms (below)?? For this snail, I used the Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends. Stampin’ Write vs Stampin’ Blends

Stampin’ Write vs Stampin’ Blends markers… I would like to take a second to talk you through the different marker types that Stampin’ Up! offer… Starting with Stampin’ Write markers. These are a water based marker just like our ink pads. You can use them on your stamps to “color” an image or choose a water to highlight. Next is the Stampin’ Blends. They are an alcohol based marker. Quick to dry, easy to use to color a pearl and wonderful to color an already stamped image. Which would you choose Stampin’ Write vs Stampin’ Blends??
