Finally Snow Snoopervisors and Growth Ohhhh yes, I am excited! Finally Snow Snoopervisors and Growth all from this week on the homestead! All the ground is covered in this beautiful white stuff. I know there are many that do not like it. However, I am not one of those! I live in the Midwest for enjoying all and I mean ALL the seasons! All the Snoopervisors… Two are in training. Starting with Mr. Gorilla Cookies and Junior. Junior made his first look around the new set up in the craft room. He has been enjoying a bit more space and several new friends. Lastly, is Penelope. Let me just say…

Painting Snoopervisor getting closer to done.
Painting Snoopervisor getting closer I can say that tomorrow is going to be my last day painting. Not only because of the weather, but I am done!! I can no wait to show you… First off here is my Painting Snoopervisor getting closer then he should to those spindles. I was petting him here… and of course guiding him away from the wet paint. Joe and I decided that am the touch up painter. I kept finding things. I hate to admit that I found a couple spots today. And no I did NOT get the garnet paint back out. I will have it out tomorrow for the trim on…

Dirt Snoopervisors and Full Glory Trees, the Homestead
Dirt Snoopervisors and Full Glory Get a load at these Dirt Snoopervisors and Full Glory Trees. So the first “snoopervisor” was Cuddles. She decided that she liked to help with only the onions. Goodness knows why but she had to be in the center of it. Than of course when she did not like me moving her, YES, she was in the way. She decided to take a bath… Now Junior was just hanging out on the sidelines. However, as soon as I was ready to start the next row of planting… he decided to move. Right in my digging path. Seriously!! I have to say that you know that…

Little Green Dirt and Mooch, an old kitty says hello.
Little Green Dirt and Mooch Ohh, things are getting a Little Green, Dirt and Mooch, our old man. Remember the Ranunculus set from the Jan-June mini?? Well I decided that I needed to grow my own. I have a mix and a tangerine. Soo excited to see this green. Down in the basement. Strange place I would agree, but you need to start somewhere!! There are many more with green sprouts, so YES I am jumping for joy! So, as you can see things are getting serious… I have 5 seed trays with snapdragons, coleus, foxgloves and dahlias and sooo many more. Plus not in the photo are greens and…

Mooch’s very Merry Christmas, from his chair.
Mooch’s very Merry Christmas We were very happy to share Mooch’s very Merry Christmas photo. This had been Mooch’s favorite Christmas decoration since I mop Ed into the house. Guys let me tell you why this is a big deal. About two months ago we’re thought it was his time. As a 19 year old kitty that spent over two years wild and outside. It is truly a miracle that he has lived this long. For this I am thankful and so is Joe. He knows what this chair means. It does not matter that he can not see. He smells the tree. Is happy for one more Christmas with…

Chicks Kitties and Eggs to start the week…
Chicks Kitties and Eggs. Starting off the week with Chicks Kitties and Eggs. Ohh but there is always more… Right?? Joe was home the last part of the week, yeah. He decided that Mooch needed a new friend. This little cutie needed someone warm. Yes, they both feel asleep for over 3 hours. I did keep tabs on things, trust me. Snoopervisor and chick sitter, wonder what his next title will be. I am happy to report that both White Sox and Penelope have been sharing. Nicely too! The heated kitty bed. There are times that Penelope is NOT happy about it. However, she does not get nasty about it.…

Helper Baby Chicks Snoopervisor all at it again.
Helper Baby Chicks Snoopervisor It has been a fun week full of a Helper Baby Chicks Snoopervisor all through the week!! First up is Logan… My helper. He was sooo excited to help me go pick up the baby chicks!! I bet you can tell by that smile!! They sure are a quiet bunch… seriously… DANG!! These now 13 chicks have been here for five days and only a few complaints from them. Meaning loud chirping…. Not because they are cold or hungry I promise you that, but someone is stepping on another or for just no reason that I can find. I need to add that the leg stretching…

Eggs Birds and Snoopervisors on Homestead
Eggs Birds and Snoopervisors This week it is all about Eggs Birds and Snoopervisors. Starting off with eggs. It has been awhile since the Homestead had dark brown and green eggs. This means that the last of the chicks from fall have started to lay. WoooHOOOO!! With new chicks on the way too… These girls need to earn their keep, haha. We have gotten two dark brown and 4 green eggs so far this week. I sure am glad that we figured out the light situation. I have to tell you a funny story… The photo on the left is the girl that lays the dark brown eggs and she…

Working Snow new Snoopervisor on the Homestead
Working Snow new Snoopervisor Joe Working, Snow, new Snoopervisor all on the Homestead. No, we have not decided what to do with that light yet. However, Joe was able to seal up that ceiling above the cabinets this last week. Ohhh you bet I was excited! Not only that but the electrical is complete with means that the wall has a coat of primer too. Although we have not decided what color we are going to paint. hummm, I like the thought of neutral wall, but sounds kinda boring too. I need some more time to think about it. Maybe I will think on that while enjoying a double batch…

Updates Gabby, kitchen, and the outside kitty.
Updates Gabby, Kitchen too. Fingers crossed that this update is a GREAT sign. It started with kitten milk. The vet said she can eat anything and I have been been trying a LOT of different things. Finally found a couple things. But the key I think has been the kitten milk. She was not sure about it at first, but now she is hooked. Hopefully this is a upswing! Did you miss the beginning?? Check here. More updates Gabby, and Kitchen. Kitchen is next… Adding more Red, White and Blue to the wall. Guys, shhhh, I have more stuff still!! I am just loving how it all came together. I…

Leaves, kitties, being a student AND a tree
Way past time to take these fall decorations down, right?? YIKES!! I do not way to even tell you how many pumpkins there were around the house! The “Grateful” was my favorite creation this time… The two snoopervisors… apparently they do not mind “hanging” out on the sofa together. Who knew?? It is not very often that I get to be the “student” and you bet I take advantage when I can!! Paula and I went out to Holly’s shop and made these beauties!! I had fun learning a new crafty thing. If you have not been out to her shop be sure to stop by: Geodes and Gemstones, Knox,…

All about the kitties…
Mooch would say the best part of this last week was that the windows where open. I would agree, a beautiful breeze and sunshine helps the mood for sure! Here is Mooch taking in some rays old man style!! White Sox would agree with Mooch, now. The leaking water fountain was down for “repairs”. However, the parts were ordered and arrived before the weekend. White Sox was grateful. In conclusion, Miss Penelope, over worked, decided that she needed a rest from her #snoopervisor position. I had to laugh because she is still in the box this evening. Paula, you worked her too hard today! I wonder what antics will happen…
