    Pine Cones from Peaceful Boughs

    So I have been trying to get ideas for my Christmas cards. I started with the Peaceful Boughs (150541) Stamp Set This was one that ended up stamped, and I like it BUT…. What is it missing?? I look forward to you suggestions! I have another idea but that wont get ink until tomorrow. Simple color combination for this Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake with a pop of Cherry Cobbler. Even the Rhinestones are Cherry Cobbler. You know you want those Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (150457) And you can tell that those are two different sizes.     One of my usual groups loves a simple card with a touch of fun. How did I do?? Using the Stamparatus (146276) and a Maple leaf. Remember the idea from last week using the Timeless label punch (149516)? I love how if fits more sentiments now! In addition to that punch idea, how about a SIMPLE fun fold. Take out your new Trimmer (152392) and your favorite 4 1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock. Long at the top and score at 3/4 of an inch and then again at 6 1/4. DONE!     Itty Bitty Birthday for a Challenge

    More birthday cards for my stash! Hey, let’s think about this for a minute… 365 days in a year. Yup, I will be making 365 plus cards, but most importantly SENDING them!     Pressed Petal for Coffee and Cards

    Sooo much fun playing with scraps on Coffee and Cards this morning! The Pressed Petal DSP has 24 sheets double sided (149500). All of the above pieces were scraps. Even the layering pieces.     Painted Harvest for a Challenge

    What colors have you tried with the Painted Harvest (144783). How about Merry Merlot and Mango Melody?? This week for the Global Design Project sketch challenge…. I love fall….and I do love to decorating for it also. This card was bringing in all my favorite fall colors. However I did use this set with Cajun Craze and Mango Melody… Loved that one too!     9/14 Coffee and Cards

    Coffee and Cards this week we are still working with the Perennial Essence Suite (152166). Today though we are working with just the leaves. There are two different types of leaves. Lets take a closer look…. I started with was the middle card this week. Punches, and a pretty edge. Do you see the Stitched Shapes die (145372)? Adding that to the second and third card holding the sentiment. First up, stamp, ink and paper. I sponged the separate sentiment piece so that it would POP!     How about we take a peak at the Magnolia Lane Suite (152178)? Starting with a Simple card and then take it to the next level… Using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp set (149298), and the Magnolia Lane DSP (149484). Adding a small bit of Petal Pink cardstock on a Whisper White card base… hummm, what could we add?? I like to add in threes… working off this same card what would you add??     Pressed Petals… Thinking of You

    Do you like a quick card?? With a big heart? Use your Pressed Petal (149500) DSP… and a little piece will do ya. Add the Woven Heirlooms (149306) for your sentiment and a much needed sympathy card, says what you want to say. We all love making cards, except for this occasion.     This week we played with the Whisper White narrow note cards (145583) & envelopes along with the Rooted in Nature (146482) coordinating dies Nature’s Roots (146341). Do you struggle with small cards for your gift bags?? or are you a gift wrapper?? haha. funny right?? I hardly ever wrap anymore. I love that the bags are recyclable!! First was our beginner card.     This group started on Saturday’s Coffee and Cards. The card on the left, a simple stamping, featuring a new 2019-2021 In-Color, Purple Posy. The flowers and leaves for all three are from the Everything is Rosy stamp set. The sentiment for all three are from the Daisy Lane. Tilting the Crumb Cake and card base around for a different look.     Swaps are a fun way to meet fellow demonstrators… This year the bright and cheerful gingham was the way to go!! Simple stamping was also a choice that was decided. Available in Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Lemon LIme Twist and Highland Heather. From one 6×6 sheet you can get two full cards. including the little flags.     Another challenge for me on Simple Stamping, Using the Dear Doily (148690) stamp set, with Gray Granite and Smoky Slate cardstock. The ink is Tranquil Tide, which just as a reminder will be retiring the end of May. Are you planning on getting yours early?? This is really the way to go… card stock, ink, refill and ribbon will all retire May 31. The card was designed for one of my library classes….. check out my events for the next one.     Simple Stamping Hibiscus with technique

This is a must have… In the Occasions catalog pg 36, it is one of the new cling stamp sets and has matching die cuts too bundled together for $42.25. This card is on a the whisper white note card and envelope (145583). Adding a few sweeps of the grapefruit grove ink, let it dry (really dry!) and then stamp in Rich Razzleberry.
