Sweet Strawberry Plus Three additions to each set.

Sweet Strawberry Plus Three I love the Sweet Strawberry plus three idea. We started with the simple stamping idea. Created our own DSP using the two step stamping from the stamp set. I have to tell you that I really love using the Flirty Flamingo as the background color with the Real Red as the outline. How do feel about it?? The stem colors are Pear Pizzazz as the background and Granny Apple Green as the outline. That is where the Granny Apple Green cardbase was decided. Have you made your own DSP yet. It sure is easy. I used Basic White cardstock and grabbed the ink. The first was…

Butterflies Flowers and a BIG Smile using the pansies.

Butterflies Flowers and a BIG Smile. Can it get much better then Butterflies Flowers and a BIG Smile?? I do not think so. Say hello to Judy. She is my neighbor and my dear friend. How much fun that we have birthdays only a few days apart!! She has tough be lots about “farm” life. But mostly about Chickens, Gardening and Canning. She and her hubby have “adopted” Joe and I as extended kids. We always give each other flowers for our birthdays. This was fun for me too. My mom helped me pick out this wonderful hanging basket when she visited just before my birthday. For this one, no…

First November Girl’s Night card with greenery.

First November Girl’s Night The First November Girl’s Night card has two different versions. I was worried about not having enough of the Whisper White Crinkle Ribbon. I like the Linen Thread alternative too. Which is your favorite?? Need a little bit of a closer look?? The only difference is the ribbon. Humm, I like them both. Our colors for this Pear Pizzazz, Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron. Question?? Could this card be for something else?? I would say yes. Change the inside sentiment. The front could really have any inside. Even the leaves could be a thinking of you, hello or even miss you for the inside. Does this…

You are Wonderful – Slimline, Rooted in Nature.

You are Wonderful Slimline. I love how the “You are Wonderful (Slimline)” sentiment fits inside the big tree die. Grab your Stampin’ Blends out to color your leaves. The Plaid Tidings DSP helped me pick with colors to use. The brisk weather the last couple days is getting me ready for the fall cards. How about you?? I shared how to create this card on a Facebook live here. All that you need for this one is the Rooted in Nature stamp set, Nature’s Roots dies and cardstock to match your plaid that you picked. The twine and ribbon combo is one of my favorites. Wrap your Linen Thread around…

4/14 Tuesday Editions of Coffee and Cards

They almost did not all fit! Dang you guys had me working for it today, hahaha!! I know, I did it to myself, right?? That Pressed Petal DSP made quick work of it though didn’t it? All these beauties with one piece of 12 x 12. These were the ones that we made during the video, mixed up the colors a bit too. No waste either. Lots of scraps used too! Keeping several of the cards a little simpler, but that DSP does so much why would you add too much?? Yeah, you know that I did…. Ribbon!!! I do love me some ribbon… although this was mostly twine. March Girls Night idea

Set Mash Up! Using the Inspiring Iris stamp set (149268) and the Flourish Dies (141478) to create this card. The idea came to me because of the pattern in the stamp set. That pattern is sooo close I decided to try it together. I would say it was a WINNER! How about you? Then ladies decided that this card should be in all different colors!! LOVE! However, I need to point out that the “background” or the “grass” is actually the background for the Iris stem!! To me it looked like a cattail. What do you think?? You really will want to join us next month. I made chocolate chip…

Day 4 of Valentines – Heartfelt – create your own DSP

Fun idea today… Let’s make our own DSP (designer series paper). Here are the Ink colors…. Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Petal Pink and Crumb Cake. Using the Heartfelt stamp set (151417 B-153775) and the largest image first, general rule. Keep in mind that you have a sentiment layer to add over the “DSP”. We used only a 4 x 5 1/4 inch pieces, but you could make a whole sheet and then make up several cards. In other words spread some more love!! Now, you know I did not think about this, of course, until just now that Happy Valentines needs some Shimmer Spritzer on it, hummm!! ANYWAY, the layering…

All three decorated just slightly different. Colors are the same. I know you see the DSP and it is already no longer available, I am sorry!
