Bye Bye to Bonanza Buddies
I have a young cousin that had a birthday earlier this month… And bears with bows seemed to be the ticket! This DSP…. Ohh sooo happy and bright. The Koala just makes you want to smile doesn’t it?? Are you seeing the little round of hearts?? I bet you recognize them… Those are hearts left over from valentines day, BUT perfect for confetti. Haha, I know I am evil! But at least I marked the back of the envie. Even added an extra Koala to that side! And you bet I put the WHOLE round inside the card. The Koala is CUTE, but…. It needed a few sparkling touches! Best Dressed and Fancy
What is your color? I was working on my tutorial for the TTT group and had some scraps left. What do we do with scraps?? Yup, we make more cards! Here is the result…. to make it even better, how about a fancy fold? Here is how to create this fold… card base of 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4. Then you cut off 3/4 of an inch. Use that 3/4 inch piece score at 3 inches and tuck under the inside layer. DONE. Easy, right?? Reminder stamp prior to using your adhesive! We all make mistakes! Hint: use the same ink color as your cardstock for…

Let’s Celebrate 2020
Happy New Year!! I am still working on that Night Before Christmas (150437) DSP. Just like in Coffee and Cards on Saturday. Using up all that beautiful paper. Did you know that I do not have a Happy New Year stamp?? WHAT?? I know, right! But working a little bit of magic… Itty Bitty Birthdays (148618) has a “LET’S CELEBRATE YOU”. All you do is “mask” off the “you” and Ta-Duh! To be honest though all I did was ink only the two words I wanted. Easy enough, but took two tries. WIN But the “2020” was a different story. Pulled out the Make a Difference (146676) stamp set. Yes,…

Itty Bitty Birthday for a Challenge
More birthday cards for my stash! Hey, let’s think about this for a minute… 365 days in a year. Yup, I will be making 365 plus cards, but most importantly SENDING them! ANYWAY, The Global Design Project has a fun sketch this week. Using this sketch for my two new birthday cards. Coffee and Cards was exciting this morning, because one of my brothers stopped in. I am grateful for his help. He is the one that downloads my FB lives for me. Thank you Brad! Check out the live! In addition to adding the leaves, you see that there is a knot on the sentiment. But let’s talk DSP.…

Littles with Come to Gather
Lastly on the Come to Gather week long adventure… is my FAVORITE sheet of DSP. Yes, I do love me some gingham, and this one reminds me of one of my hubbies shirts. Crazy?? yes, but true. With 12 different patterns, this is the one I pick. This DSP pack is part of the paper share and the Come to Gather (150454) pack is in the 2019 Holiday catalog. That leaf is from Tags & Feathers Elements (150455), and has a second leaf, larger, plus that AWESOME “log” piece. How about a “backpack” for a cute note?? In addition, to the DSP this cutie uses the largest of the Stitched…

Rooted in Nature Birthday
Back to a girls night card from earlier in the month. Paired The Rooted in Nature (146482) with the Itty Bitty Birthday (148618). Used the Nature’s Roots Die (146341) for the old tree. Tried a couple different colors for the tree leaves. Although no matter which colors they turn out different EVERY time! And I love it!! Pick your sentiment … DONE!! I dare you to try the Pear Pizzazz and the Pretty Peacock together!! Ohh, the combo is just royal! For instance, the leaves on the background, beautiful. Check back tomorrow, the Coffee and Cards were not quite done, but will be for tomorrow’s entry. Have a Great Day…
