Super Fancy from Fun Fold Class Sweet Strawberry.

Super Fancy from Fun Fold Here is a Super Fancy from Fun Fold class. Have you gotten your Sweet Strawberry bundle yet?? I know that I will be using is a whole lot!! Let’s talk strawberry colors!! I have tried Flirty Flamingo with Real Red for this card. However, I have also used Calypso Coral and Cherry Cobbler. One more combo that I need to try is Real Red and Cherry Cobbler. Which to me is the obvious color combo. Although it really would not have a ton of contrast. Wanting to show you a little how the fold works. Yes, there really is a lot of cardstock and DSP…

Pretty Perennials and In Good Taste, thoughts??

Pretty Perennials and In Good Taste Happy mail using the Pretty Perennials and In Good Taste DSP!! Yes, there is a bonus of Fresh Freesia too! I need to make a few more of these. I have to admit I have a ton of scrap pieces from this DSP (Designer Series Paper) pack. No they do not have to look all the same, right?? Keep in mind when you are mass producing cards that those scraps can add just enough of a change to make things EXCITING!! The “happy” stamp comes from the Pretty Perennial bundle which is retiring the end of this month. However, I am super excited to…

Afternoon of Butterfly Birthday Bash, two more ideas.

Afternoon of Butterfly Birthday Bash. The afternoon of the Butterfly Birthday Bash started with a break for lunch. Make your own sandwiches Ham, Turkey or Roast Beef. Topped with lettuce tomato or just plain. Chips of course, potato salad or cole slaw and you have already seen the Cupcakes. YUMMMM!! Plus that was the extra time I needed to finish coloring the butterflies. And you bet there was lots of chatter and laughing!! However there is always more silliness!! This card was right after lunch. It needed to be not too complicated for that after lunch nap needed time. haha. Now, I know that I am not the only one!!…

I do not do too many BIG events. When I do, I go ALL out!! For the Butterfly Birthday Bash, the goodie bag was HUGE!! The above photo is just the different papers that you received. Note the In Good Taste DSP is carried over to the new Annual Catalog, woooHOOO!! The Hydrangea Hill DSP and that beautiful Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass is from the Jan-Jun Mini. Springtime Joy with a Lamb and pink

Springtime Joy with a Lamb I am ready for some Springtime Joy with a Lamb wearing flowers. How about you?? I bet it does not feel like spring today, but … This little cutie is here to say hello and think Spring. I created this card for the Culver Library class last month. We try and be a holiday ahead. I think she needs some eyelashes?? hummm?? Maybe even a little bit of coloring on her little feet. The “crown” coloring was done with Watercolor Pencils. Reminder, do not forget to use your Blending Pen to get a softer more blended look. However, you could easily do it with the…

    Strong and Beautiful Journal Cover

Strong and Beautiful Journal For today I want to create a Strong and Beautiful Journal cover. Do you journal?? I had a friend ask me to come and help create some ideas to help her customers with personalizing their planners, journals and lists. Here is my favorite! You know that Butterflies would be a must. And of course there would be purple. Why?? Because it is for me.. I actually have a journal, did not use it until I added a few things to it. Why?? because it was a BLANK piece of white paper. Where do you start?? It actually was a little intimidating to me. Yeah, right… I…

In Good Taste Birthday card with wood elements.

In Good Taste Birthday Needing a masculine card, In Good Taste Birthday card is a place to start. The In Good Taste Suite has DSP, Stamp set, Dies, Embossing Folder and these awesome wood elements. However for this card we only use the DSP (designer series paper) and the wood elements. Can not see the Wood elements?? Well I added a touch of ink. This photo shows them off a little bit better. How did I do that?? Well I just placed them on the ink pad. You may want to lightly tap on them for full coverage. They will need to be allowed to dry. It really does not…

    Layers of Tasteful Touches labels.

Layers of Tasteful Touches. In need of a masculine card?? Do you like woodgrain?? The In Good Taste Suite has all you need! Including little wood elements. No, I did not use them on this card. This one is another Culver Library Class card. Layers of Tasteful Touches dies was what I needed to add interest with what started out as a little stamping. A closer view of the front shares what started as just one stamped fern. Yes, it turned into a whole bunch… ohhh well. The ladies were very patient, thankfully!! Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede inks were what we used. Three different DSP pieces and four of…

DSP and Lovely You Bundle for two different looks.

Grab your DSP and Lovely You bundle. I love versatility. The In Good Taste DSP and Lovely You bundle can be both masculine and feminine. Really it just depends on the pattern you choose. These two cards are good examples. You can see the step by step in the live here. Grab you 1/2 inch to 1 inch scraps to create all those lovely layers and extra patterns. I just realized what the card on the left needed. And I sure wish that I would have figured that out during the live. I am not going to tell you because I will share it when I put that one together.…

Good Things with the Shimmer Paint.

Good Things with Shimmer… No intervention needed, I promise… I used the Shimmer Paint right out the of the bottle. Using two different suites to create this card. The DSP comes from the World of Good. However, the embossing folder, die cut and sentiment comes from the In Good Taste. Are you looking for a way to get that vintage feel?? Dontcha, love how that embossing folder texture is colored?? Grab your sponge for this one… using the Early Espresso ink just LIGHTLY sweep on that ink to highlight that texture. Using that same sponge darken the edges of the rips and rolls, also to the edges of your “quill”.…

7/7 Coffee and Cards, making a journal more personal…

I love making a journal personal… What do I mean?? Making a journal personal is really as easy as putting your spin on the cover. Why?? It is something that you will more likely want to look at and work in each day if you enjoy how the outside looks. Silly?? Not really, because if you put personal things on the inside, why not put some of your personality on the outside!?! To get started you will need a composition book, I picked up several from the dollar store. However, back to school time is close, check the sales! Find some DSP that coordinates with your favorite cardstock. Layer as…
