Winter Birthday for a Challenge
It was my Mom’s Birthday Saturday. shhhh, don’t tell her because she has not gotten her card yet. This card is doubling as this weeks Global Design Project challenge card. This challenge is for two weeks, due to the holidays. Not wanting to forget to get my entry in, this worked out perfect! The colors do make a perfect Christmas card, but Mom loves the evergreens. Window using Peaceful Boughs
Remember back in October when we were doing the remodel and I took advantage of Joe having tools out? No?? check here. Here is a second project that was constructed that day. The first, in case you forgot, is the “ladder” that is now in the bathroom, check here. This one measures about 12″ by 12″. The perfect size for any paper crafting project!! It started with a cardinal. In addition to the Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe ribbon, I paired it with the Burlap ribbon. Not using both, but layering one over the other. 12/22 Coffee and Cards Sunday??
So much fun in such a little thing. We have played with the wood elements before, and YES, I do love them!! Sooo, many things that can be done with them! We have used them on the Fall Sampler, for a couple gift ideas, a card and now Christmas ornaments. Using Three different Stamp sets, bundles Christmas Gleaming – 153006 To Every Season – 153051 Peaceful Boughs – 153033 And adding a couple snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers – 143751. Yes, I really do have things on my table just begging to be used. The first four from coffee and cards… the top full snowflakes are also from the live……
