The Koala just makes you want to smile doesn’t it?? Are you seeing the little round of hearts?? I bet you recognize them… Those are hearts left over from valentines day, BUT perfect for confetti. They almost did not all fit! Dang you guys had me working for it today, hahaha!! I know, I did it to myself, right?? That Pressed Petal DSP made quick work of it though didn’t it? All these beauties with one piece of 12 x 12. These were the ones that we made during the video, mixed up the colors a bit too. No waste either. Lots of scraps used too! Keeping several of the cards a little simpler, but that DSP does so much why would you add too much?? Yeah, you know that I did…. Ribbon!!! I do love me some ribbon… although this was mostly twine. Here is the result…. to make it even better, how about a fancy fold? Here is how to create this fold… card base of 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4. Then you cut off 3/4 of an inch. March Girls Night idea

Set Mash Up! Using the Inspiring Iris stamp set (149268) and the Flourish Dies (141478) to create this card. The idea came to me because of the pattern in the stamp set. That pattern is sooo close I decided to try it together. I would say it was a WINNER! How about you? Then ladies decided that this card should be in all different colors!! LOVE! However, I need to point out that the “background” or the “grass” is actually the background for the Iris stem!! To me it looked like a cattail. What do you think?? You really will want to join us next month. I made chocolate chip…

Catch of the Day for Girl’s Night Birthday

Let’s talk Girls Night! Making a Masculine Birthday and the Perennial Birthday “booklet”, which we will talk about tomorrow.. So much fun creating your own DSP (designer series paper). Here was the hardest part, what colors to pick? Hummmm. Finally settled on Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake. Each attendee was given a 4 by 11 sheet of Whisper White. Be sure to leave room you can ALWAYS add. The coastal Cabana and hat were next. Lastly,…

    Winter Birthday for a Challenge

It was my Mom’s Birthday Saturday. shhhh, don’t tell her because she has not gotten her card yet. This card is doubling as this weeks Global Design Project challenge card. This challenge is for two weeks, due to the holidays. Not wanting to forget to get my entry in, this worked out perfect! The colors do make a perfect Christmas card, but Mom loves the evergreens. Remember the “Window”?? That is why it needed to be the Beautiful Boughs Dies (150661). Once again, adding the Ice Stampin’ Glitter and the Shimmer Crystal Effects. Here is the second Girl’s Night birthday card. Still have winter birthdays on my mind. One member of my team sends a TON of birthday cards each year. I hope to do the same. Take a look, just changing the color, changes the look. However, the look changes with ribbon too. I know there are some that are made EXTRA special.
