Global Design Project #255
It sure has been a LONNNg time since we have participated in a Global Design Project #255. This theme really spoke to me. I actually created one card in the facebook live and changed my mind. I will share that tomorrow. This card, a new SlimLine card uses the extra trees that we colored in the Coffee and Cards live. You will want to grab your Rooted in Nature stamps and Nature’s Roots dies. I do not know about you, but a little cooler temperatures would be nice. I will say some rain would be even better. Anyway, how about making those trees?? Notice how each tree looks a little…

New learning curve… We are all trying to navigate in new ways. Last night was our Team meeting and due to the current “situation” we… All learned how to do it via Zoom. In addition to that we had a beautiful guest. It was very exciting for me to have the opportunity to invite Shannon West from Stampin’ Up!. Certainly a fun surprise for my team! We were honored to have her join us and pass on some great information. Also thank you for all the help! Anyway… Creating this beautiful set has a three fold purpose. One was for my team swap and really, who couldn’t use a healing…

Winter Birthday for a Challenge
It was my Mom’s Birthday Saturday. shhhh, don’t tell her because she has not gotten her card yet. This card is doubling as this weeks Global Design Project challenge card. This challenge is for two weeks, due to the holidays. Not wanting to forget to get my entry in, this worked out perfect! The colors do make a perfect Christmas card, but Mom loves the evergreens. Remember the “Window”?? That is why it needed to be the Beautiful Boughs Dies (150661). Once again, adding the Ice Stampin’ Glitter and the Shimmer Crystal Effects. The ‘snow’ in the background is from the Peaceful Boughs (150541 b-153033) Stamp set or bundle is…

9/7 Coffee and Cards w/ a Challenge
Today’s Coffee and Cards did double duty…. Continuing the fun with the Come to Gather Suite (153484) AND a challenge for the Global Design Project. I would call this an “alternative”.
