Two last from the bits and pieces container…
What is the count?? I will have to go back and look… but let’s start here… The ribbon and retired die cut was in the container. First I layered the Crushed Curry die cut on Daffodil Delight. How did I get it to match up?? I went old school… That is correct, I traced it with a pencil. However not just some fancy pencil. The ones that you actually have to sharpen. haha certain to be careful and get every little curve. Grabbed the scissors and FUSSY CUT! Secondly, this one used the piece that was NOT picked on Coffee and Cards. Along with the little scrap left over from…

Deck the Halls with Light
The trio of paper lanterns for Christmas. The Christmas is Gleaming bundle (153006) is on low inventory (at time of post). So, I thought I would post quick. I have seen the lanterns in several shapes, I did triangles. Stitched Shape Circles for the two smaller and Nested Labels for the larger. Each uses a full sheet of cardstock, just the heights vary. All three decorated just slightly different. Colors are the same. I know you see the DSP and it is already no longer available, I am sorry! However, you could put a layer of Pretty Peacock that is embossed and add some frost shimmer paint on the raised…

Adding the mini dimensional to the window sheets helped to keep them “flying”. The video below will walk you through all the steps.. I sure hope this helps to spark some crafty…

Spooky Wonderfully Wicked Tombstone Treats
Would you think to use vellum to add some SPOOKY?? I almost did not. GASP, right? The Tombstone “wrapper” is all vellum 1 1/2″ x 7″, with a 3/4″ x 6 1/4″ of Basic Grey and some scrap Whisper White. Tombstone wrapper starts with the Everyday Label punch (144668). First score your vellum 3 1/4″ from both ends. Then from left to right… first, slip your end section through just far enough to carefully pull out just the scored end. After pulling that end out, join the pieces/ends together. Pulling the scored end out just far enough to punch off “the end” for the “Tombstone” look. You could also do…

9/28 Coffee and Cards – Wonderfully Wicked
We had so much fun today on Coffee and Cards. I hope you can join us next time! Sooooo, today we created our own DSP… Using Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and Memento Black Inks. Our base cardstock color was Whisper White. Using only the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp set (150547) images. The live video produced these three. However, I was able to add a fourth card afterwards. Dontcha, LOVE those little bats on the first card?? The image and punch is part of a new bundle To Every Season (153051). Cutting specific sections of “DSP” for the perfect background. After that, picking the perfect add on. Either, ribbon,…

9/14 Coffee and Cards
Coffee and Cards this week we are still working with the Perennial Essence Suite (152166). Today though we are working with just the leaves. There are two different types of leaves. Lets take a closer look…. I started with was the middle card this week. Punches, and a pretty edge. Do you see the Stitched Shapes die (145372)? Adding that to the second and third card holding the sentiment. First up, stamp, ink and paper. I sponged the separate sentiment piece so that it would POP! Keeping with the power of 3, like last week, leaves, ribbon and embellishments were added. The Braided Linen Trim (147808) is shown “pulled” apart,…

Love What You Do #GDP201
I love giving treats… How about you?? How about a treat for a teacher, friend or neighbor?? This week on the Global Design Project, the challenge has to do with these colors… Great Fall color combos, dontcha think? This creation was simple leftover pieces from other projects. Mossy Meadow base 2 1/2 x 7 scored at 3 1/4 and 3 3/4. Add the decorations you want. Stamp using the Merry Merlot ink and the flower bunch from the Love What You do (148042) set. The 1/2 base is just wide enough so that this cutie even stands up. No need for gluing the candy because the “belly band” holds it…

Free as a Bird for GDP #196
This week for the Global Design Project is CASE the designer, Connie Collins. The parts that spoke to me are the Gingham and Frames… Have you tried using two of the stitched dies together?? No muss, no fuss for great frames! This carries all through the Ovals, Circles, Squares, Rectangles even the new Nesting dies. Continuing with the “patriotic” color scheme of the Holiday weekend, but using a more country style of Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Merry Merlot. All 3 of those colors are included in the Neutrals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper pack (149614). Additionally available in both sets of In-Colors, Brights, Subtles and Regals (pg168).…
