July 2021 DDD part two – the last two cards.

July 2021 DDD part two I hope you are enjoying the July 2021 DDD part two. Today’s two cards are using all the parts from the Ephemera kit. Wondering what that is?? Well, basically it is all the foil and embellishments in one pack. Not only does it make it easy but it is affordable too. The Expressions in Ink Suite includes the Ephemera kit. However if you want to purchase separately it is only $7. Inside you will find 5 sheets of foil pretties and a sheet of sequins with glue dots already. Using that kit to highlight the Happy Birthday sentiment. Using one outline section and what would…

Last two Christmas in July cards, with a fun fold.

Last two Christmas in July Here are the Last two Christmas in July cards from our Stamp-a-Stack. Looking for the first two?? Check this post here. Our first one is the fun fold of the Stack. A super easy fun fold at that. We also did this one for the Fun Fold class last month, here. With this idea it really makes the Snowman the focal point. Even with that simple DSP background. Wondering about that super cute snowman?? He is from the Snowman Season stamp set. Which in case you are looking it also has a Snowman Builder punch. It punches the snowman from the envelope. Anyway, just a…

Second Christmas Mystery Card idea with Trees.

Second Christmas Mystery Card Here is our Second Christmas Mystery Card Night card idea. Now I know that you are familiar with the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and Pine Tree punch. However, the Wintery 3D embossing folder is new in the annual catalog. I wonder if you have kinda bypassed it?? I know, I know, it is not winter yet, which is what make the Christmas in July events so much fun!! Some are wishing for cooler weather (like me) and some are planning Christmas cards already. Either way both are a welcome ideas here. Merry Christmas and the Just Jade “label” that is is on was made using the…

Last June Alternatives and peek at the August kit.

Last June Alternatives and peek Here we are with the Last June Alternatives and peek at what we can look forward to for August. Starting with this fun fold. I am excited to say that I only added the 4 1/4 x 11 cardbase to this card. All the parts and pieces are from the kit. Ohh and the Craft White and Soft Succulent ink. Remember the Coffee Cup alternative?? The left over section is what I used on the front. I knew that it needed a pop of color so I used only two of the three sections that came in the kit. Using the stamps that came with…

Little Things you do, from Pansy Patch

Little Things you do Today the Little Things you do are BIG things. This post is a reminder from me to you about how important all those little things can be!! I am here to tell you that the little things are HUGE to me. A smile and a hello text are all important. That a butterfly is here to remind you also that someone loves you. Just fluttering by. This card truly has almost all of my favorite things. Gingham, butterflies a little bling and a different idea. You know where the butterfly comes from Butterfly Brilliance bundle, which was HUGE during the Butterfly Birthday Bash. The little bit…

Super Fancy from Fun Fold Class Sweet Strawberry.

Super Fancy from Fun Fold Here is a Super Fancy from Fun Fold class. Have you gotten your Sweet Strawberry bundle yet?? I know that I will be using is a whole lot!! Let’s talk strawberry colors!! I have tried Flirty Flamingo with Real Red for this card. However, I have also used Calypso Coral and Cherry Cobbler. One more combo that I need to try is Real Red and Cherry Cobbler. Which to me is the obvious color combo. Although it really would not have a ton of contrast. Wanting to show you a little how the fold works. Yes, there really is a lot of cardstock and DSP…

Envelope Fun Fold yes an easy one from class.

Envelope Fun Fold yes an easy one Here is an Envelope Fun Fold yes, an easy one from Fun Fold Class. I do really like this one. Another that uses a regular cardbase. I wanted to try and mix a little of the soon to be retiring items with a few new. I will share more about that. The fold really is perfect and very well could be a gift card holder. I would put the gift card holder on the bottom flap. It really is easy, just add a piece of scrap to the left or right side. DONE!! Dontcha love that flower. The technique is called Two Step.…

Pop Out Fun Fold I want to share the third Pop Out Fun Fold card. This one completely reminds me of summer. Funny how that works because the stamp set is called Shaded Summer. hahaha. I am going to say that this card is not easy. However, very much worth trying to figure out. You can always head over to my Facebook Live and catch the replay. No worries because I have several photos that will help you create this card too. I bet you are wondering what that little “stamp” sized punch is from. Grab your rectangular postage stamp punch. Smile Accordion Fun Fold From the front the Smile Accordion Fun Fold looks pretty standard, right?? Wait until you open it!! Using all of my favorites for this one… Stitched So Sweetly dies, Daisy Lane stamp set and the Medium Daisy punch. However, do not pass by that Linen Thread. Are you ready for the fun part?? Here is where the fun in fun fold comes in. Let me just say that really all you need is another long cut cardbase. It sure was fun to create and really after the scores are done. It too was pretty easy. Here is another fun add. It is a gift card holder.…

First of the Fun Fold Cards, this is an easy one!

First of the Fun Fold Cards Here is the First of the Fun Fold Cards. I want to say that this one is one of the EASY ones too! My favorite part is that you use a regular cardbase to start. If you have done any fun (fancy) folds you know that most take a TON of paper. You might need to start with 12 x 12 paper. UGGHH, right?? Not this one. What does that mean?? Well you still get two cards from one piece of 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock. Which is a win when you do not have a lot of colors or cardstock in…

Fun Fold Treat Box, because candy is necessary!!

Fun Fold Treat Box Okay, I just start off with saying chocolate is needed for the Fun Fold Treat Box. As you can see there is LOTS of it in this little box. I also want to add this box is from scrap of one of the fun folds that we made. Yes, no scraps for this one!! WooHOO. Even the decorating is from the scrap bin. I do love when you can create such cute ideas without cutting a BIG full piece of cardstock. However, if you need to make several then this would yield two boxes from one piece. I used a few different items here… The leaves…

First Look at Fun Fold Here is the First Look at Fun Fold Class and all the shenanigans. Soo, many beautiful smiles too!! We teased Betty on this one. She did not see how this cardbase was going to be a card. No worries we got her all set up. We ALL laughed about it too. Yes, Betty did too. You guys life is too short to sweat the small stuff. This one is a Polish and there are several here on the Homestead. This is just one of my favs. The fun part is that they come in all sorts of colors. February Team Meeting Swap Yes, I had fun with the February Team Meeting Swap. The theme was using your favorite bundle/suite of product from the Jan-June Mini catalog. They all were slightly different in that some had Snails and some had Mushrooms. All the coloring was slightly different too. The background is the Snail Mail DSP. You know it was difficult picking just one. Which is your favorite?? The Snail or the Mushrooms (below)?? For this snail, I used the Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends. Here is a question for you, do you keep cards to “C.A.S.E.” at a later date? I be you are wondering what CASE means, Copy And Selectively Edit. This fold was fun to figure out the first time.
