Flowers Chicks Veggies and Visits with the P’s So much going on here on the homestead. All kinds of Flowers, Chicks, Veggies and Visits out to my parents. Starting with the sunshine that the sunflowers are bringing to the edge of the garden. The birds are in for a great treat. Sooo, many seeds to be had this fall. Chick, Chickens and Squash Here is the Chick of the Chick, Chickens and Squash…. Remember LuLu was setting on 5 eggs, right?? Apparently once the twins started running around… She got up from the eggs with four still to go. As a diligent mom myself, I was checking frequently on the progress. Cold eggs will not hatch. A quick check of the four when LuLu was off the “nest”.. they were not warm. Quick action taken… I brought them in the house candled found two were empty. Chicks, Chickens and Flowers. Just a peak at the new Chicks, Chickens and Flowers that are all fancy on the Homestead. Yes, they have hatched and what the big girls have to say about it. Starting off with the chicks from the first incubator hatch. These two have been outside for over two weeks now… ohhh, how the time flies!! I removed the divider on Saturday evening. There was chasing and pecking, but not to much. No clue as of yet, if they are hens or roosters. I promise to keep you posted! Here is the second incubator hatch… Just two again.
