Penelope decided it was too long since she sat in the front door. I was very excited to see her there. This was Wednesday, I was running around cleaning things up around the porch.     It sure has been a LONNNg time since we have participated in a Global Design Project #255. This theme really spoke to me. I actually created one card in the facebook live and changed my mind.     One of my usual groups loves a simple card with a touch of fun. How did I do?? Using the Stamparatus (146276) and a Maple leaf. Remember the idea from last week using the Timeless label punch (149516)? I love how if fits more sentiments now! In addition to that punch idea, how about a SIMPLE fun fold. Take out your new Trimmer (152392) and your favorite 4 1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock. Long at the top and score at 3/4 of an inch and then again at 6 1/4. DONE!     Remember the post several weeks back when I was using the miter saw? This is one of the new additions to my decor. I look forward to changing it with all the seasons. However, Mother Nature is having other ideas… Today, the cold front and snow arrived. Happy it was today rather then later this week!! The Homestead has several trees that are still Green.     Last week started kinda slow, but with Joe’s long weekend coming up and moving day creeping in I hope. The closet was all my job. I had the task of figuring out how to put it back.     A floor, more color and shhh

    Finally nearing the end of this remodel journey… a temporary floor has been glued down. Yes, it is dusty, but Swiffer to the rescue. The kitties have been enjoying the sunlight in here. If you look VERY close you can see a dark green bouncy ball in the far end of the floor (kitty toy). Joe, wants to move back in this next week.     Using a technique that I showed you back on the Waterfront Watercolor Card to stamp the leaves. Using the watercolor technique to stamp the leaves. I used the coordinating leaf die found in the Seasonal Layers (143751). Colors used to create the leaves, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and So Saffron. Kaitlyn and I created the left card first.     Construction update and MORE!

    Houston, we have insulation AND drywall. WooooHooo!! Two full sheets left too…HUMMMM, where can I put that?? Mudding has started too! I will leave that for the next Post. The Chickens say… bring on the fall weather!! The girls sure have been much happier with the cooler temperatures. However, this Sassafras is a reminder of what is to come. They are the first to turn color here. Pretty against all the green, BUT!! This poor butterfly/moth was not “feeling” the cooler temperatures. Joe brought her in for a warm up and an orange snack.
