Love you more than… Coffee or the new machine??
Okay, Love you more than… It really is not something that I can really pick which… You know how I am with my coffee. However, this new Cut and Emboss machine is pretty darn amazing. The “sandwich” is pretty close to the old Stampin’ Up! machine too. I know that on Girl’s Night the girls did really like it. Please do not make me pick.. Did your grandma, mother or YOU have those plastic coffee cups that look like this one?? Mine sure did… It sure was a fun memory to remember. I took me a little bit to try and remember why the little “stars” has a memory. Once…

So grab your favorite ink colors, some Whisper White cardstock, make a Shimmer Spritzer (link) in complimentary color and let’s do this!! As you can see on the bottom of this photo I made three different color patterns. One has more corner sweeps, another has softer sweeps and the other is a mix of the two. Want to see how.. Check out the Tuesday Edition of Coffee and Cards here. Starting with a half sheet of cardstock for each pattern. You will get a lot of mileage…

Day 4 of Valentines – Heartfelt – create your own DSP
Fun idea today… Let’s make our own DSP (designer series paper). Here are the Ink colors…. Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Petal Pink and Crumb Cake. Using the Heartfelt stamp set (151417 B-153775) and the largest image first, general rule. Keep in mind that you have a sentiment layer to add over the “DSP”. We used only a 4 x 5 1/4 inch pieces, but you could make a whole sheet and then make up several cards. In other words spread some more love!! Now, you know I did not think about this, of course, until just now that Happy Valentines needs some Shimmer Spritzer on it, hummm!! ANYWAY, the layering…

Catch of the Day for Girl’s Night Birthday
Let’s talk Girls Night! Making a Masculine Birthday and the Perennial Birthday “booklet”, which we will talk about tomorrow.. So much fun creating your own DSP (designer series paper). Here was the hardest part, what colors to pick? Hummmm. Finally settled on Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake. Each attendee was given a 4 by 11 sheet of Whisper White. Now, how to get started….. my suggestion is to start with the biggest image first! These are all pretty much the same, BUT I choose the “fish basket”, using Crumb Cake ink. Be sure to leave room you can ALWAYS add. The coastal Cabana and hat were next. Lastly,…

9/28 Coffee and Cards – Wonderfully Wicked
We had so much fun today on Coffee and Cards. I hope you can join us next time! Sooooo, today we created our own DSP… Using Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and Memento Black Inks. Our base cardstock color was Whisper White. Using only the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp set (150547) images. The live video produced these three. However, I was able to add a fourth card afterwards. Dontcha, LOVE those little bats on the first card?? The image and punch is part of a new bundle To Every Season (153051). Cutting specific sections of “DSP” for the perfect background. After that, picking the perfect add on. Either, ribbon,…

Beautiful Day for a Challenge
Back playing with the Stampin’ Blends for this AMAZING flower. The Beautiful Day stamp set (145915) has been fun to color this last week. Lastly with this set… The Global Design Project challenge #GDP204 which is a CASE, and Kerstin’s card is just beautiful. I liked the DSP, but had to create my own to match the flower I chose. Also used the Rectangle Stitched dies (148551) but with the Perennial Essence Vellum (149101) in So Saffron. Stamping two of the flower images, and a couple extra leaves. One was colored Cherry Cobbler (c-144598) with a little Crumb Cake (c-144601). The second is Daffodil Delight (c-144603) with a little Pumpkin…

Rooted in Nature Birthday
Back to a girls night card from earlier in the month. Paired The Rooted in Nature (146482) with the Itty Bitty Birthday (148618). Used the Nature’s Roots Die (146341) for the old tree. Tried a couple different colors for the tree leaves. Although no matter which colors they turn out different EVERY time! And I love it!! Pick your sentiment … DONE!! I dare you to try the Pear Pizzazz and the Pretty Peacock together!! Ohh, the combo is just royal! For instance, the leaves on the background, beautiful. Check back tomorrow, the Coffee and Cards were not quite done, but will be for tomorrow’s entry. Have a Great Day…
