Heat Embossing White or Colors Do you like Heat Embossing?? Have you used you Heat Tool lately?? Today is about Heat Embossing White or Colors, there are both on this card. You can check out the YouTube video which shows all the shenanigans on this card. The patterned paper is called Design a Daydream. It is an amazing 48 sheet pack of paper. However it is a Host only gift. Let me know if you have questions. Here is another question… Have you colored your ribbon. I used the Rich Razzleberry dark Stampin’ Blends. Back to the embossing. You can see the White for the front sentiment. Did you see…

Fun Fold coloring birthday, simple but fancy
Fun Fold coloring birthday I have a simple Fun Fold coloring birthday card idea for today. Using the Perfectly Penciled DSP, Pale Papaya cardstock and Basic Black. OHHH, but do not overlook the heat embossed sentiment. Here is how the fold works. You will need a 4 1/4 x 11 pieced of cardstock, scored at 5 1/2. You go over 1 1/4 and cut off that rest of the front. Turn that piece a 1/4 turn and BOOM. There is your fun fold. I love having simple, no extra cardstock needed “Fancy” looking cards. Tell me I am not alone in the comments!! Now, Here is the coloring part. You…

JoAnne has this 3D Thursday an Easter idea.
JoAnne has this 3D Thursday JoAnne has this 3D Thursday, a fun idea for Easter. Not only using the Easter Friends but the Flowering Fields DSP! Thank you JoAnne for an AMAZING idea! See?? How cute is this?? Okay, do not whine, there is a bit of fussy cutting!! Off the top of my head I see… Medium Daisy punch, Tailor Made tags, Linen Thread, Bumblebee Gingham ribbon in addition to the stamp set and DSP. I can say that these are also an easy color. No matter if you use your Stampin’ Blends as JoAnne did, watercolor pencils or even your Marvelous markers. You know how much I love…

Last Coloring Class Card, Grab your favorite colors!!
Last Coloring Class Card Here is the Last Coloring Class card. Yes, I saved my favorite for last. Although I did really love how all of them turned out!! Did you miss the roses with the Blending brushes?? How about the “succulents” card one?? How do I suggest starting with these amazing markers?? Just grab a couple of your favorite colors and a stamped image, using Memento ink. Or like we did here a 12 x 12 sheet of True Love DSP. However any black and white would do wonderfully. Start off with one color. Start with the lightest color first. Then using the lines that exist on the flowers…

Second Look at Coloring Class, a more masculine look.
Second Look at Coloring Class. How about a Second Look at Coloring Class, with a masculine touch. I am excited to be able to remind you that Blending Brushes are back in stock!! WooHooo. I used Just Jade and Mossy Meadow for the above card idea. To me this patterned piece looks like either succulents for cabbage for fall. Either of those could very easily be for the man in your life. Joe liked it anyway… haha For this part of the class we used just one Blending Brush. Working from light to dark. It really does cut down on cleaning. Just Jade was our lighter color. Random blending spots…

Peek at Coloring Class, Blending Brushes and Wink.
Peek at Coloring Class. Just a peek at the coloring class from last month. Holy Cow how could it be a month already!! The first technique was easy and fun. Picking our favorite color and “brush” the flowers. I used Rococo Rose, but really it could be ANY color. I wanted to be sure that you could get a lot of stuff so… Each person has a full 12 x 12 piece of DSP to play with. But that was just the start!! One blending brush and three sets of Stampin’ Blends also. You got to pick the colors!! I find that it really is much easier that way. Why??…

April Showers Under my Umbrella, retiring soon.
April Showers Under my Umbrella April showers bring May flowers they say, today April Showers Under my Umbrella brings flowers, boot and thanks to your day. I hate to say that we really need some more rain. The pond is still so low. I heard on the weather too that we are still in a deficit as far as rainfall is concerned. Fingers crossed we have a chance of rain a couple days later next week. Fingers crossed!! Anyway, some happy pops of Daffodil and brightly colored flowers for today. Can you see the embossing folder in the background?? That is from the Meadow Moments embossing folder. That folder actually…

February Team Meeting Swap – My fancy fold
February Team Meeting Swap Yes, I had fun with the February Team Meeting Swap. The theme was using your favorite bundle/suite of product from the Jan-June Mini catalog. They all were slightly different in that some had Snails and some had Mushrooms. All the coloring was slightly different too. The background is the Snail Mail DSP. You know it was difficult picking just one. Which is your favorite?? The Snail or the Mushrooms (below)?? For this snail, I used the Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends. The Mushrooms turned out super cute. I did however use a lot of Stampin’ Blend colors for these. Here is the…

Stamping in Embossing Paste using Dragonfly Garden
Stamping in Embossing Paste I love trying different things like Stamping in Embossing Paste. Sometimes you just have to be brave and try stuff. This however is not new. I have a YouTube video on this back in 2018. For that video I used a now retired woodgrain stamp, check it out here. For these cards that tall image was calling to be colored. That was not all, it needed some texture. You will not only need your Dragonfly Garden stamp set (bundle saves 10%), Dandy Garden ribbon and Dandy Garden DSP, but embossing paste too. You could also get the whole Dandy Garden Suite. However, I love the coloring…

Coloring Sunflowers using the Stampin’ Write Markers.
Grab your Regals to Color Sunflowers using the Stampin’ Write Markers. That is my go to color family for fall. Darker yellow, a couple different oranges, greens and reds too. Yes, the perfect fall color family! However pairing the Very Vanilla helps to darken the colors just a little. Curious how I created this card? Check out the Tuesday edition Coffee and Cards for the full run down. Yes, I sure did mix the colors to get the sunflowers to look like this! I did the same with a few of the leaves also! Have your gotten your markers out and played with lately? WHAT? You don’t have any? Well…

It sure has been a LONNNg time since we have participated in a Global Design Project #255. This theme really spoke to me. I actually created one card in the facebook live and changed my mind. Sunflowers used for Girl’s Night I know that you wonder what happens on Girl’s Night?? Well, come on and join us. I am keeping numbers low so that we can “social distance”. We get together, craft, laugh and talk. Sometimes it is a late night, sometimes it is an early one. Celebrating a birthday?? Sunflowers used on Girl’s Night and you bet it has a happy birthday sentiment inside. Add in extra color using… Squeeze the ink pad together. Open your lid to your Bumblebee ink and grab your Wink of Stella. There should be a little bit of ink on the lid. The brush has the perfect amount of…

Smooches with Lovely Lipstick…..bye bye
When you talk about Lovely Lipstick… I think of a S.W.A.K. or lipstick kiss. Old school I know. Lipstick nowadays doesn’t leave a mark. What would you have added?? Can you see the Wink of Stella inside the tulips?? Now to write in them all and get in the mailbox to bring someone some sunshine.
