Memories and lots of Christmas decorations

Memories and lots of Christmas Decorations We need to start here. The Christmas kitty chair. This is where the Memories and lots of Christmas Decorations usually start. However, this year it was one of the last thing. Why?? Because with losing Mooch that was his spot. I will also add that all the kitties know that is his chair. No one has been in it, YET!! Here are a few more decorations in the house for you. The one all the way on the left is the kitchen table decor. Reusing the faith from the fall decorations. The middle is the special angels that I got from a friend. I…

    Bulbs Dehydrator Christmas Decorations

Bulbs Dehydrator Christmas Decorations Happy Monday!! This week is about Bulbs Dehydrator Christmas Decorations and still soo much to do!! Finally I was able to get all 1,120 plus bulbs planted. So thankful too. The ground is starting to get cold. I sure was happy that I have fingerless gloves. Most of my hands were super toasty. I did notice thought that I have three bushes to get in the ground. Fingers crossed that things stay warm for a few more days so that I can get that done too. Now for those that are not gardeners, everything is better in the ground. The pots are not as insulated. Last…

Christmas Decorations on the Homestead, WOW!

Christmas Decorations on the Homestead Soo, here we are with all the Christmas Decorations on the Homestead. Starting with the tree. Joe and I went to the local Christmas Tree farm, Hensler’s to find out perfect tree. So many possibilities. We went with a smaller nettle this year. It was a nice day, thankfully. What do you think?? After two attempts to get enough lights. It is complete. There are 800 lights on this thing. It was Joe’s idea for the multicolored lights. Which I thought would be fun, however… I had none. Took a guess at how many we would need. Yup, I guessed too low. Not only that…

Sad looking Hamscher Homestead, just sad!

Sad looking Hamscher Homestead Things are really sad looking at the Hamscher Homestead, right??? Guys it is the 14th. This is the only decorations that I have up so far. Usually things are all decked out. I know I go a little Christmas Crazy, but this is just a drastic opposite for me!! YIKES!! So every year the VERY first thing that comes out is Mooch’s Christmas chair. You can see it in the background of this photo. I actually have only seen him on it once in three days. Which makes me sad actually. But maybe it is because he is waiting for all the rest of the crazy…

Happy Christmas Eve on the Homestead

If you know me… You know for sure I love to decorate for Christmas. This year I got a late start, BUT… Here is how it all turned out! From the foyer, top left, and to the kitchen table. The old wood, evergreens of all types, to the cardinals. It just helps to bring the outside in. Our Christmas tree in the family room, fireplace, the stocking are hung, but not in the picture, sorry. All doorways are adorn with evergreens. Remember, I try to decorate more for the season, so the snowmen will stay with us thru January and into February. Yes, I decorate the bathroom too! Lastly the…
