A very sick little kitty and they grow so fast

Happy he is home! I ended up taking White Sox to the emergency vet on Saturday night. Please someone explain why this happens on the weekends instead of during the week?? Anyway, due to a couple things on his blood work they decided to keep him for at least 12 hours. I just hate going home with no pet. The pets in the house freak out and get all depressed. And it has been about a year since the last time I came home empty handed. ugghh. Thankfully they checked his blood work again about noon on Sunday and it came back more normal. After doing a small cheer, I…

    Kitties and Chicks

Thursday morning…. Joe is off to work and I can actually sleep in! The house should be relatively quiet, right?? Apparently NOT!! Mooch woke me up snoring in my ear. geezz, I know that I snore, but holy cow. I can not fix his snoring. Their feathers are coming in… Joe told me the other day… “So, Amazon dropped off their legs today?” It truly is amazing how quick these babies grow. As you can see from the top of this photo, the tail feathers are starting to come in. They are still very quiet. Except once… Joe and I were at the kitchen table and heard some loud chirps.…

Way past time to take these fall decorations down, right?? YIKES!! I do not way to even tell you how many pumpkins there were around the house! The “Grateful” was my favorite creation this time… The two snoopervisors… apparently they do not mind “hanging” out on the sofa together. Who knew?? It is not very often that I get to be the “student” and you bet I take advantage when I can!! Paula and I went out to Holly’s shop and made these beauties!! I had fun learning a new crafty thing. More for Fall, but Mother Nature had other ideas…

Remember the post several weeks back when I was using the miter saw? This is one of the new additions to my decor. I look forward to changing it with all the seasons. However, Mother Nature is having other ideas… Today, the cold front and snow arrived. Happy it was today rather then later this week!! The Homestead has several trees that are still Green. This one is the Cleveland Pear, and I am sure that it will change color now. Even the poor Turkeys were scratching for food. Meanwhile, White Sox is on antibiotics and this was at the vet. Not happy to be there, can you imagine?? Poor…
