    Big Day for these Boys It is that time… the Big Day for these Boys. Both Wayne and Henry go off to the vet in the morning. They are at that age and things needs to be removed.     Hands in the Dirt Hello and what am amazing week!! Starting off with Hands in the Dirt. However, this job was not glamorous AT ALL!! The poor chickens!! It has been way to long since I have cleaned out the Chicken Coop. Uggh, it was sure gross to say the least. After two buckets full of free fertilizer spread around all the evergreens it was time to put sand and a new pine shavings inside. The girls were very happy!!     Chicks Kittens and loads of flowers This last weekend I went to pick up my baby chicks. Ten more bundles of joy brought to the homestead. This week is about Chicks Kittens and loads of flowers. These little cuties are a great addition and much needed. Without a Rooster I can not hatch out my own eggs. Thankful to have a friend that also needed chicks. I was able to get 3 – Faverolle Pullets (girls), 4 – Easter Eggers Pullets and 3 – Mille Fleur straight run.     Bald Eagle for the New Year We are still so excited to end the year with this. However, for me it really was an amazing sight to start the year too.     More Bulbs tough Decisions Here we are starting another week. So much, but so little going on I hate to admit. This week is about More Bulbs tough Decisions, I am super excited that the second bulb delivery arrived. This bring the total bulb count up to 1050. Mostly Daffodils, some Tulips and some Alliums. The last order is for the front three flower beds. Two on either side of the walkway and for the Memorial garden. With that being said, I am soo dang excited to see what happens this spring.
