How are you doing today? Today has been a MUCH better day then yesterday, I am happy to say! Did you hear yet about the Challenge that Stampin’ Up! has given to the demonstrators?? Two last from the bits and pieces container…
What is the count?? I will have to go back and look… but let’s start here… The ribbon and retired die cut was in the container. First I layered the Crushed Curry die cut on Daffodil Delight. How did I get it to match up?? I went old school… That is correct, I traced it with a pencil. However not just some fancy pencil. Window using Peaceful Boughs
Remember back in October when we were doing the remodel and I took advantage of Joe having tools out? No?? check here. Here is a second project that was constructed that day. The first, in case you forgot, is the “ladder” that is now in the bathroom, check here. This one measures about 12″ by 12″. The perfect size for any paper crafting project!! It started with a cardinal. In addition to the Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe ribbon, I paired it with the Burlap ribbon. Not using both, but layering one over the other. Harvest Hellos for Challenge
Here is my idea for the theme challenge at the Global Design Project. It is perfect for this… Going with the “Grow” let’s continue having fun with the Harvest Hellos (150663). Are you loving the pumpkins and apples the last few days? How about some make your own DSP, add a sponged pumpkin, burlap ribbon and a cut up sentiment. Honest, it really is that easy! Let’s talk a little more about this DSP. The 12 x 12 pack could go both masculine or feminine, also flowery or not. A Truck and for a Challenge #195
Today let’s go on a trip… Out to the country, where I live! All of us in the Pickup Truck… for this week’s Global Design Project Challenge #gdp195 the theme is… So many fun ideas, but when I saw the challenge, it was going to use this new bundle Ride with Me (151106). A Little Note…
Just a little note for a friend…. The Butterfly Gala stamp set (148580) for the sentiment, Needlepoint Nook DSP (148807) for the start of this card… Add Crumb Cake, Night of Navy card stock then a splash of Silver Glimmer paper. Yes, we are cutting up the burlap ribbon (141487) AGAIN with, who does not love Gingham Ribbon (144232).. Lets talk ribbon a minute… not all bows are perfect.. that is why we have glue dots!! Just Saying!! This one did NOT want to sit the way I wanted, guess who won? haha. Do you ever have little 1/2″ strips of DSP?? yup, that is what is on the inside…
