    April Snow Flowering Trees No complaining, I did not order up the April Snow, Flowering Trees you bet I did!! I was super excited to capture the snow falling on Wednesday. It really did look pretty. However, I am worried about my Apple trees. Remember a few weeks ago, here. Joe even asked me about the tulips and daffodils. Everything bounced back pretty quickly. The sunshine came and perked up the tulips!! I took these photos on Thursday. The trees looked soo happy! I am grateful that the freeze did not do any damage.     Well, let me start by saying Joe came home from midnights on Wednesday morning full of energy. Determined not to waste a beautiful sunny day. Off to the races he began. Starting with the chicken coop. What am I talking about, well, lets just say that all the “fertilizer” was creating an issue with drainage. And doing it by hand with a shovel was just too big for either or both of us. Off came the side of the pen enclosure, in came the tractor. Now, there is a nice pile of “fertilizer” to spread around the trees. The small area is left, but the rain needs to quit to…

    More flowering trees and a fire

    But first.. An update on that clematis, that I moved closer to the fence. I know you can see all those little shoots… YEAH!! Still, keep your fingers crossed that it keeps growing!! Two of the four apple trees are about ready to POP!! However, I sure hope that the weather cooperates. Adding all those little worker bees that I have seen. Are they hungry, yet?? Could you imagine all the apples we are going to get?? One of the other apple trees bloomed last week. The plum was right there with it.
