Gift set using Pleased as Punch

A cute bag and coordinating card. Here is a reminder don’t forget there are TWO sides to each piece of DSP. I know and I like the punch out side too! I LOVE this subtle pattern too!! This is the same bag that was used for the Halloween bag done for Coffee and Cards back in October. Using a 6 x 12 piece of DSP-score short side along the top, score at 2 inches. Put long across the top and score at 2 1/4, 5 3/4, 8 and 11 1/2. Fold on all score lines. To close box bottom cut along the score mark in the two inch section. Bag…

    Pleased as PUNCH

Still having fun with this DSP! This started out as a $1 frame…. hummmm, mid month? I know a bonus! Here is what else you need… Under My Umbrella bundle (153786) punch out the umbrellas 1/2 circle punch (119869) to punch out the flowers And LOTS of dimensionals (mini and regular) Covering the frames is as easy as tracing the frame and cutting it out. Adhere with Multipurpose Glue. Arrange your punched out pieces and do not be afraid to use those partial pieces. Even the little flowers that have a straight line can be used along the heart or edge. A FUN find … the “Hello Sunshine” fits in…

ALL of the faces are different because just like a snowflake no snowman is exactly the same!! However, if you are not comfortable doing the mouth by hand, the trio punch has the perfect mouth size ovals. The Chalk marker is just one way to make the eyes, I chose to use the shimmer paint. Deck the Halls with Light

The trio of paper lanterns for Christmas. The Christmas is Gleaming bundle (153006) is on low inventory (at time of post). So, I thought I would post quick. I have seen the lanterns in several shapes, I did triangles. Stitched Shape Circles for the two smaller and Nested Labels for the larger. Each uses a full sheet of cardstock, just the heights vary. All three decorated just slightly different. Colors are the same. I know you see the DSP and it is already no longer available, I am sorry! You have a pretty top where you add a few pieces of DSP (Night Before Christmas- 150437) and DONE!! The truffle that I ended up putting inside did NOT want to stay put… I “created” a seat, if you will, for it. Scored all four sides and snipped one side (all four sides) to create the boxed seat. Ohh yeah and a circle die (Layering Circles-141705) in the middle. Dressed it up with a pretty bow (Cherry Cobbler Strip Ribbon-150439) and it is now ready…

    Spooky Wonderfully Wicked Tombstone Treats

Would you think to use vellum to add some SPOOKY?? I almost did not. GASP, right? The Tombstone “wrapper” is all vellum 1 1/2″ x 7″, with a 3/4″ x 6 1/4″ of Basic Grey and some scrap Whisper White. Tombstone wrapper starts with the Everyday Label punch (144668). First score your vellum 3 1/4″ from both ends. Then from left to right… first, slip your end section through just far enough to carefully pull out just the scored end. After pulling that end out, join the pieces/ends together. Pulling the scored end out just far enough to punch off “the end” for the “Tombstone” look. You could also do…

    Love What You Do #GDP201

I love giving treats… How about you?? How about a treat for a teacher, friend or neighbor?? This week on the Global Design Project, the challenge has to do with these colors… Great Fall color combos, dontcha think? This creation was simple leftover pieces from other projects. Mossy Meadow base 2 1/2 x 7 scored at 3 1/4 and 3 3/4. Add the decorations you want. Stamp using the Merry Merlot ink and the flower bunch from the Love What You do (148042) set. The 1/2 base is just wide enough so that this cutie even stands up. No need for gluing the candy because the “belly band” holds it…
