    Rooted in Nature Birthday

Back to a girls night card from earlier in the month. Paired The Rooted in Nature (146482) with the Itty Bitty Birthday (148618). Used the Nature’s Roots Die (146341) for the old tree. Tried a couple different colors for the tree leaves. Although no matter which colors they turn out different EVERY time! And I love it!! Pick your sentiment … DONE!! I dare you to try the Pear Pizzazz and the Pretty Peacock together!! Ohh, the combo is just royal! For instance, the leaves on the background, beautiful. Check back tomorrow, the Coffee and Cards were not quite done, but will be for tomorrow’s entry. Have a Great Day…

Mossy Meadow base 2 1/2 x 7 scored at 3 1/4 and 3 3/4. Add the decorations you want. Stamp using the Merry Merlot ink and the flower bunch from the Love What You do (148042) set. The 1/2 base is just wide enough so that this cutie even stands up. No need for gluing the candy because the “belly band” holds it…

    Paper Pumpkin-Fathers Day

It is getting close to Fathers’s Day, do you need the perfect card?? How about using parts of your Paper Pumpkin? Today, only the stamps are from the May kit. At first, I was thinking a floating card, but due to unhappy stamping this was changed into just a quick card. Tomorrow is a new day for the floating card. Let’s turn lemons into lemonade. Still taking que from the box, pulled out a Pretty Peacock card base and ink. Add a little more sentiment from the Well Said (148796) stamp set. Dear Friend

Today is all about a Paper Pumpkin alternative. As a Paper Pumpkin subscriber since the beginning, I can honestly say that if you have been outta the loop for a while, you NEED to get back in!! Shelli Gardner, co-founder of Stampin’ Up! helped to design this kit. The top card, in Pool Party, is from the kit, mostly as the directions state. I added a stamped imagine on the sentiment and tweaked the twine. I would love to get this card, how about you? Now, for the alternative card…. I hear you cringing, however, a fussy cut was necessary. Can you hear the feathers asking to be cut out??…
