New learning curve…
We are all trying to navigate in new ways. Last night was our Team meeting and due to the current “situation” we… All learned how to do it via Zoom. In addition to that we had a beautiful guest. It was very exciting for me to have the opportunity to invite Shannon West from Stampin’ Up!. Certainly a fun surprise for my team! We were honored to have her join us and pass on some great information. Also thank you for all the help!
Creating this beautiful set has a three fold purpose. One was for my team swap and really, who couldn’t use a healing hug these days!! And two, I now have a beautiful gift to send as a thank you to…. ?? But, the third and final reason is that is also part of the Global Design Project color challenge.
Perfect spring time colors, right?? Our swap guidelines were a CASE from one of the current catalogs. After that, I knew that flowers were needed. A hunting I went, made it to page 18 in the Mini Catalog. Hummm, I do not have those dies, BUT!! I do have something VERY close.
Cautiously, I grabbed the spritzers mixed up the Pool Party ink with just water and alcohol. However the So Saffron, was mixed with Frost White shimmer, water and alcohol. I know that the Pool Party is very light. I added 5 drops. DANG!!
Using an extra watercolor paper to add the cut flowers to the “center” here. Did you look at a stamp set and think…hummm what can I do with that… I know we have talked about this before. This again is one of those sets, for me. The dies are what sold me. The bundle, So Sentimental has several great sentiments including the one on the above card. But those dies… the scallop rectangles, stinkin’ cute!
I do look forward to sending these out. hummm, but what candies do I but inside?? Global Design Project, thank you for another timely challenge, I look forward to the next one.
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
