Sketch Challenge

Here is my version of the Global Design Project sketch Challenge#146 (#gdp146).. Using the new Layering Alphabet Bundle, Layering Ovals, Pinewood Planks embossing folder, Pick a Pennant and Pop of Petals Bundle….Phew, That is a lot of stuff… I have been enjoying these challenges… Kinda takes me out of my comfort zone a little. And you know how much I love not completely following the directions (sorry), haha Having to pick a flower was the first tough task… there are 5 very pretty flowers in this stamp set. Layering the flowers, which by the way is a wonder punch… added to the “volume” of the flowers… too much?? NOPE!! Liking a smidge of sparkle.. the sequins fit the bill… A small amount of fussy cutting for the leaves. Wanting just this saying was perplexing at first…then remembering the perfect saying would be easy with all the individual letters available to me in print or script… Pick a Pennant was the winner. Not to dismiss the Make a Difference with scrolled letters, but… “Dirtying up” the YOU with a dauber was decided later, but easy with a small piece of scrap Whisper White. The fun curl of the pulled twine was a happy happenstance. Creating this card was fun… It is exciting when you help people turn their creativity into a business, or just a new hobby. Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
