I am super excited to share the four cards from the Sending Smiles from August DDD. Here is the first. This using two different colors from the Pretty Prints DSP. However they are the same pattern. For this card you will need a few Stampin’ Blends to not only color the ribbon, but the embellishments too.

Curious what is included in this class?? Typically there is cardstock, DSP (patterned paper) and ribbon and/or embellishments. The cost is usually under $20 for all these fun things.

You know how much I love finding ribbon to color. Why?? Because then I can use it ANYWHERE!! And with any color. With the base color a white, which you will see later this week. The same thing applies to the heart embellishments. Those are also white. You sure could have left both the ribbon and heart embellishments like that, however I liked being able to pull all the colors together. What would you have done?? I am very curious.

Lastly the inside. Using the Sending Smiles bundle with this I found it tough to not use the flowers that were in the stamp set. To me these little flowers could actually have been the dandelion wish seeds. You never know!! Using only one ink here Calypso Coral I stamped first and second generation. What do I mean?? Ink your stamp, stamp your first flower, “huff” on the stamp and stamp the second time. No reloading of ink, no fuss no muss. It is a GREAT way to get that two tone look. Especially with darker ink colors. More for you on Thursday because tomorrow is 3D Thursday, woooHOOO!!
