Parts Birds and Kitties

Another week on the Homestead of Parts Birds and Kitties. So much going on as usual. Starting off with my dishwasher parts. Joe took the dishwasher apart. I will admit that I was slightly worried. However, things turned out great. And it is working much better for sure!! I am very fortunate to have a hubby that can fix just about ANYTHING!!

Okay, you are asking… Jen what the heck am I looking at?!? The evergreen is my retired Christmas tree. Look past that. On the bottom left is my Iris sprouting, Dad those are from your house. But look over on the right. See those kinda yellow sprouts?? That is GARLIC. I wanted to try something new and my friend Kendra plants hers in the fall. So I figured why not!! I am saying that this is going to be a WIN. These are just the ones that have be uncovered by snow melt. There are many many more!! You know I will keep you posted.

On this note… I am working on putting together another science, planting, experiment. What I am working on gathering all the parts and will share when all things are here and ready. I am super excited about this one too!!

Ohh, the birds have been super hungry. We have had to go out and fill the feeders twice this last week. I am sure it is due to the snow. However this week we have a 40+ degree day coming. It sure is going to get sloppy around here. Especially in the chicken coop. We will see how that goes.

Last thing this week is not only an update but happiness. The kitties and I mean all of them are enjoying this “shelf” that Joe build. Even Cuddles has been safely enjoying the birds from inside the house. WooHooo.
