Pansies Little Extra Happiness with Pansy Petals DSP
Pansies Little Extra Happiness
I love Pansies, Little Extra Happiness and so much more about this card. Let’s start with the Pansy Petals DSP (patterned paper – there is a suite too). Both of these patterns come from that pack. The Bumblebee pattern is a soft or subtle pattern. With the flower and leaf pattern being a bit bigger. AGAIN mixing my DSP’s to show off how easy and pretty they can be together.
However, this layout works with any coordinating DSP’s. I used this layout for the Make ‘n Take card at the BOGO sale last month. This was the sample idea. The other two used the Beauty of Friendship DSP, (see girl’s night card idea). The third was Bloom Where you are Planted DSP (see Culver class idea). I hate to say, that I forget to take photos of the other two DSP cards. uugghh.
The Pansy Patch stamp set has some GREAT sentiments too. I really like this mix of fonts To me it helps it to look special. Besides we know from Chalk Couture that this mix is super in style. The Everyday Label punch is one that was used also on all tree designs. It is a great place to start if you do not yet have a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss.
Here was a struggle. You know that I love my ribbon. With all of these different DSP packs the only mutual color was White. Which would you pick, Bakers Twine, White Seam Binding Crinkle Ribbon or the Flowers for Every Season has a white also. It was a tough call. At least for me. And you know that I have all of those, so that wasn’t it. The Twine won because that way the cards could go either masculine or feminine.
Need another reason to get the Pansy Petal Suite?? Check out this post. Lost the Cheat Sheet post, here it is.
