Tomatoes from the Garden … yes, they were still warm. A quick rinse, some salt and pepper paired with some cold tuna casserole. Perfect for a summer evening dinner.     Yes, Best Year Bundle… I do love me some plaid! OHHH, yes, grab your favorite plaid shirt!! Use that for inspiration on the colors. Go BOLD!! Have some fun with it!     Hit by a whopper storm at the Hamscher Homestead

    Keep in mind we have 18 acres. Joe and I went out to visit my parents yesterday, Monday. A good storm blew through there, but I did not expect to come home to the damage that we found. No damage to the house or vehicles. The Whopper Storm at the Hamscher Homestead pulled huge trees out of the ground. Though not all of the trees did cooperated. So grab your favorite ink colors, some Whisper White cardstock, make a Shimmer Spritzer (link) in complimentary color and let’s do this!!     Good Things with Shimmer… No intervention needed, I promise… I used the Shimmer Paint right out the of the bottle. Using two different suites to create this card. The DSP comes from the World of Good. However, the embossing folder, die cut and sentiment comes from the In Good Taste. Are you looking for a way to get that vintage feel?? Dontcha, love how that embossing folder texture is colored?? Grab your sponge for this one… using the Early Espresso ink just LIGHTLY sweep on that ink to highlight that texture. Using that same sponge darken the edges of the rips and rolls, also to the edges of your “quill”.…
