    Window using Peaceful Boughs

Remember back in October when we were doing the remodel and I took advantage of Joe having tools out? No?? check here. Here is a second project that was constructed that day. The first, in case you forgot, is the “ladder” that is now in the bathroom, check here. This one measures about 12″ by 12″. The perfect size for any paper crafting project!! It started with a cardinal. In addition to the Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe ribbon, I paired it with the Burlap ribbon. Not using both, but layering one over the other. Using the perfect evergreen colors of Shaded Spruce and Garden Green. Using all three sprig dies…

    Happy Day after Christmas

What a great way to start Christmas, baking! Joe is working soooo, it was a good breakfast and off to bed for him. Eggs, ham and still warm cinnamon rolls. I did let Joe pick which coffee cup he wanted this morning. Which do you think he choose?? Yeah, he choose the nice one… WHAT?? I am not naughty, well, okay, maybe just a little. My sister-in-law found a very yummy recipe. I knew that baking them for Christmas would be perfect!! Did not take too long either. Joe and I will be celebrating our Christmas on Thursday. Humm, I wonder what Santa is going to bring?? I hope everyone…

    Merry Christmas 2019

Mooch wanted to be the first one to wish you a Merry Christmas! He starts his Christmas with this chair. What do I mean?? When I moved in with all my boxes he was not sure what was going on. I moved in, in April. And then in November and I brought all these boxes up from the basement he started acting super weird. Both Joe and I noticed. Until this chair was put in place and the lights turned on. That is when he became the Christmas Kitty. During the winter months this chair is out and yes, plugged in, Thankfully he is one happy kitty. Here is another…

Happy Christmas Eve on the Homestead

If you know me… You know for sure I love to decorate for Christmas. This year I got a late start, BUT… Here is how it all turned out! From the foyer, top left, and to the kitchen table. The old wood, evergreens of all types, to the cardinals. It just helps to bring the outside in. Our Christmas tree in the family room, fireplace, the stocking are hung, but not in the picture, sorry. All doorways are adorn with evergreens. Remember, I try to decorate more for the season, so the snowmen will stay with us thru January and into February. Yes, I decorate the bathroom too! Lastly the…

We have used them on the Fall Sampler, for a couple gift ideas, a card and now Christmas ornaments. Using Three different Stamp sets, bundles Christmas Gleaming – 153006 To Every Season – 153051 Peaceful Boughs – 153033 And adding a couple snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers – 143751. Happy Treats

Fun treats with a bonus!! The bonus is the extra pair of gloves. The Treat is candy!! These super cute Snowmen are perfect for the nieces and nephews for just a small treat. ALL of the faces are different because just like a snowflake no snowman is exactly the same!! However, if you are not comfortable doing the mouth by hand, the trio punch has the perfect mouth size ovals. The Chalk marker is just one way to make the eyes, I chose to use the shimmer paint. I owe a huge thank you to my friend Selene, a stampin’ sister, for this SUPER CUTE idea! In addition to her…

    Deck the Halls with Light

The trio of paper lanterns for Christmas. The Christmas is Gleaming bundle (153006) is on low inventory (at time of post). So, I thought I would post quick. I have seen the lanterns in several shapes, I did triangles. Stitched Shape Circles for the two smaller and Nested Labels for the larger. Each uses a full sheet of cardstock, just the heights vary. All three decorated just slightly different. Colors are the same. I know you see the DSP and it is already no longer available, I am sorry! However, you could put a layer of Pretty Peacock that is embossed and add some frost shimmer paint on the raised…

    Treats with Night Before Christmas

The Scalloped Tag Topper punch is perfect for “wrapping” treats. Have you tried it?? Using a strip of cardstock, punch both the top and bottom. You have a pretty top where you add a few pieces of DSP (Night Before Christmas- 150437) and DONE!! The truffle that I ended up putting inside did NOT want to stay put… I “created” a seat, if you will, for it. Scored all four sides and snipped one side (all four sides) to create the boxed seat. Ohh yeah and a circle die (Layering Circles-141705) in the middle. Dressed it up with a pretty bow (Cherry Cobbler Strip Ribbon-150439) and it is now ready…

Toile Tiding DSP for Winter Birthday

Here is the second Girl’s Night birthday card. Still have winter birthdays on my mind. One member of my team sends a TON of birthday cards each year. I hope to do the same. Take a look, just changing the color, changes the look. However, the look changes with ribbon too. I know there are some that are made EXTRA special.
