Outside Flowers and Pond Action

I could not get a good photo of this… it was either too dark or not light enough. The week on the Homestead its all about Outside Flowers and Pond Action. This amazing bush is soo happy!! It is a Oak Leaf Hydrangea. I purchased it several years ago on the clearance rack and it was NOT good looking for sure. However, it sure it now. Holy cow this thing has been blooming for almost two weeks!!

So many more pretties this week. Going from left to right. Hollyhock, Two different Coneflowers and a soon to be flowering Dahlia. The hollyhock has also been here for sometime. It is such a dark red it almost looks black. These poor Coneflowers are still waiting for me to clean out the front flower beds so that they and some Foxglove can be planted. I have one other thing out there but do not remember the name of it. Lastly this year I have been picking up my Dahlia game. I have sever different colors and sizes. Be sure to check back later to see more!!
