Last of Mystery Card Night

Here is the Last of Mystery Card Night from May. She sure is a cutie, right?? Remember the theme was farm animals. Yes, I do think that a rabbit is a farm animal. I justify this because they get shown at the 4H fair. This stamp comes from the soon retiring Springtime Joy stamp set. The butterflies are a bonus from this stamp set. Would you not agree?? Out colors here are Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. Using the same colors the rabbits flowers and leaves. How?? Well, do not forget that there are TWO different watercolor pencils packs. Assortment one has the Daffodil Delight and Assortment two has the Granny Apple Green. WOOHOO. Here is where the fun started….

We used the Layering Circles dies to create the peek a boo aspect of this card. Have you tried it yet?? The most difficult part is getting it all lined up. You will want to cut the scalloped circle first. Be sure that the card base is unfolded. first adding the second layer so that they line up. Do not be afraid to run it through a couple times to be sure that the die goes all the way through. The Stampin’ Cut & Emboss (mini) really does quick work of it.

However, you know that we do not like to waste perfectly good die cut images soo….

Here is what we did with the left overs. These could be gift tags, book marks are just little happy notes that you leave on someones things. No matter how you use them it will be sure to brighten someones day!! The Fine Art ribbon and Linen Thread just add some pretties to the top. Although we could not decide which end to use the Trio Punch with those cute little “flowers” on the corners. What do you think?? Would you like them on the top or the bottom??

Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
