Last Coloring Class Card
Here is the Last Coloring Class card. Yes, I saved my favorite for last. Although I did really love how all of them turned out!! Did you miss the roses with the Blending brushes?? How about the “succulents” card one?? How do I suggest starting with these amazing markers?? Just grab a couple of your favorite colors and a stamped image, using Memento ink. Or like we did here a 12 x 12 sheet of True Love DSP. However any black and white would do wonderfully.
Start off with one color. Start with the lightest color first. Then using the lines that exist on the flowers already use the dark version of what you started with. My example is the top Highland Heather (purple) flower. See how you can see the lines of that flower are just a touch darker.
Notice on this image that the Highland Heather flower on the right has the Daffodil Delight (yellow) lines. Ohh, be brave and try a complimentary color. This one turned out to be my favorite!! Lastly you can see on the first image the Crumb Cake (light brown) markers. I use the light marker to add darker greens to the leaves. However I also added it to the dark Highland Heather flower to make that one appear darker then it was.
Did you notice??
The ribbon?? That is the White Crinkle ribbon, yes colored. I love that ribbon because it can be ANY color you want/need it to be!! Which in my book is a big win. Especially for colors that do not already have ribbon. yes, I love my ribbon!! I also love coloring pearls. Remember that the “succulents” card had green pearls. If you have a Stampin’ Blend in the color you desire you can have a ribbon and pearl to match!!
How about that… Another Coloring Class in the books. I look forward to the next one, which could be soon. Why?? Well, because we have another Black and White paper in the new catalog!! Have you gotten your catalog?? Contact me for your own copy. I have them ready to go… All I need is your address!!
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
