Kittens Gardening and Outside Dining area on the Homestead
Kittens Gardening and Outside Dining
Okay, lets get this part over with.. Yup, we are going to talk about the Kittens. However not only that this week on the Homestead it about Kittens Gardening and Outside Dining. Starting with the newest Kittens. These three cuties are from our 5th momma. This is an old soot pail. I hate to say it was full of garbage on the bottom. So while I was feeding the mom, I brought out a couple old kitchen towels to use as bedding. Joe helped. Ohhh but wait, I have more…

Here are the older ones. Finally yesterday Pumpkin decided to move them. There is soo much cuteness here too, right?? Count?? Well, there are 10. Pumpkin moved five from the rafters and I moved the last 5. She did not drop one, thankfully. Joe was not seen on the porch all day. He wanted to be sure all the moving was done. Still no idea how many girls and boys we have. I have not even looked.
Colors??
Well, we have 2 cream tabbies, 2 black and 6 orange tabbies. All look good, they vary in age. There are 5 week old babies and 3 week old ones. I am happy to see them jumping out and playing a little bit with room to do so. If things get rough, I have an alternative plan…
I have temporarily converted the duck house to a place that kittens can go that is safe. I made this Wednesday Night when things were turning rough outside. Yes, there is a way that the Mom’s can get in and out. Hopefully we will not need it.

Quick gardening update… Can you believe that the first picture is the potatoes already?? Dang, I was super excited!! Plus my neighbor said she has a couple strawberries ripened already. I looked and mine are loaded… soo excited!!

Lastly, It was time to get the outside dining area put together. Starting with of course the Rug. I did put it in the exact spot… The grass was already dead there. Besides I am working on a plan to a more permanent situation. I need to work on Joe still. Thankful for my friend Karamen. She came and helped me get the table top on, it was all taken apart for the winter. I did enjoy it this weekend. Thank you for joining me today…
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
