Just too Early and Homestead Critters

This is only one of my Burning Bushes. I have to admit that I am concerned about this. I think it is Just too Early and Homestead Critters for you this week. Back to this bush. I also have to add that our Cottonwood tree has started to turn. I hope that I am wrong, but tell me what you think.

With the crazy weather this last week. I woke up to a Turkey Vulture bathing in the rain. This is one of trees that is now dead from a lightening strike two years ago. The regular birds were not very happy about this though. I does always remind me of spooky halloween decorations.

Here is the new critter. NO it is not a new duck. This is a Giant White Heron. I also had to take a double take. I hope it stops by to visit again. However, I think it stopped because the white female duck was in the pond all night. Her choice however she has not been down all night since, Thankfully!! This heron only visited for a short time. I sure wish Joe was awake so that he could have seen it too. I did actually entertain waking him up though.

Lastly, is Momma. Sunday I was working on the front garden. However, she was sound asleep. I even called her name a couple of times. She did not budge. I know, I know I am the people. I did not have the heart.

I was excited however, that I was able to get almost the whole craft room side cleaned up. Dang there were new flowers in there too!!
