Journal – Old Paper Pumpkin – part 1

I wanted to work on the new Journal (pg 73) that is part of the Pressed Petal Suite (152193) wouldn’t you know… so busy making sure I did not forget anything on my orders for customers, that I forgot to order the Journal (149588). So making the best of it… I decided that maybe this OLD Paper Pumpkin could work. I have been wanting to put something together with parts of this kit anyway…

Knowing that the plan was to use the Pressed Petal DSP (149500), a few colors needed to be changed. Using Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry.

The patterns did not go either, but the pages are now stronger. Adding the Pressed Petal DSP to the front, altering the which side was used. Only four pieces of DSP needed with scrap for the more stuff on the inside/front.

The bag pattern did not match now either, but VERY carefully I pulled the bag apart and glued backwards. hummm, how will this get decorated??

Lastly, punched holes in all the new pages, added the rings … Now we have a new start! Off the get photos printed … you will have to check back to see how it all comes together! After all the decorating!
