It Started with $1

I know, it has been too long since we have done… It Started with $1. Here we are April 1st and I know I have at least three lined up!! WoooHOOO!! So for this one, it all stared with a trip to Dollar Tree. I found this cute chalk board. I knew I could use it. But the wood was super light. and the back was plain… hummm

I got Mom to help!!

We have a family friend that was the victim of a shooting. So knowing that Mom might like to help be create this gift. I went out to Illinois to see what she thought. We worked on the design together. I am thankful that Mom helped. Fun memory for me. Our Family friend has stayed Strong, fought through several struggles. Now she is working hard to gain back her new life in a wheelchair. I know even with all these struggles she is all these things:

Resilient, Strong and Beautiful.

Wanting to be encouraging and add a touch of pretty to her space. This I hope was and will be a reminder when needed. I pulled out my favorite (retiring) stamp set, Strong and Beautiful. Adding in the Hydrangea Hill DSP and the Pastel Pearls for the flower centers.

Ohhh, I love all those little flowers. I will miss the Small Bloom punch. Those leaves are from the Strawberry Builder Punch, Yes, it will be available again, SOON!! but yeah it will be in the new catalog so we have plenty of time!! phew! I know you want to see the whole thing… You ready??
