Hydrangeas Gardening Baking and Kitties

Hello all, here we are again on the Homestead. This week I look forward to sharing with you a bit behind the scenes here at my house. Today I will be sharing about Hydrangeas Gardening Baking and Kitties of course..

All of my favorite things, right???

The color theme this year was, of course, Red White and Blue. Besides the flag of course… even in the wheel barrel. The star is this Hydrangea. I gave it a HUGE prune this spring and dang it was a good thing! I need to get a photo from the ‘back side’ there are 3x more blooms than you see here.

This is the second Hydrangea, different yes. This is an Oak Leaf and it LOVES shade. Which is why it is on the north side of the house, by the chicken coop. I would love more like this, however, not enough shade around the house. I do want to put more of the first, above, they do not mind the sun. Ohh, yeah I forgot to share what a it was… Limelight. I want to propagate a few more of these. Just need to be brave and do the cuttings. You know I will share when that happens.

Joe brought me a ‘sled’ to put the weeds… he is soo funny. I do have to say that he even empties it for me… It holds a TON! I have a bit more pretties to share. This Rose of Sharon is one of several that I have and it has started to self seed. Which I love because I can share! Hope for tomorrow for me and my gardening friends!!

Yup, here is a peek at my weekly loaf of Sourdough… Soo yummy and soo glad that I was brave enough to try it over a year ago!!

Lastly, kitties of course… These guys were all getting attention so I snapped a photo too. Soo much cuteness and loving to be had. Yes, it is overwhelming at times. But the joy they bring is soo much more.

Hugs and Have a Great day getting Crafty!!
