Dragonfly using Orchid Oasis Vellum and Basic Gray

Dragonfly using Orchid Oasis

Today is the last of the In-Color class ideas. Using the Dragonfly Garden and coordinating Dragonfly punch! However, this Dragonfly using Orchid Oasis and two different grays. Yes, I did mention Vellum in that title… Can you find it??

When I see and think of Dragonflies… I see clear wings. The ones here on the Homestead at least! Might I add that you will need to be SUPER patient for this one! I stamped the dragonfly in Basic Gray ink. It will take several minutes for that ink to dry. It is best to stamp those set aside and work on other things, like cutting! hahaha. Yes, you could heat emboss it dry. However, I found that the wings curled too much.

The rest of the card is a mix of first and second generation stamping. Even the inside, I could not find the photo. I left it simple with just the wildflower tall stamp only. Ohhh, one more thing! Did you notice the sentiment? I am loving that smaller background color!

Tell me what you think about it!

Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
